.1969 MG Midget MK III 1275cc. Tartan red with black upholstery and a black hood and red factory style hard top. Essentially a slightly more expensive badge-engineered version of the Austin-Healey Sprite MkII, the MG Midget was launched in 1961, initially with a 948cc twin carb A-Series engine producing 46bhp. In 1962 the engine was uprated to a 1,098cc unit now with 56bhp and brake discs replaced the drums at the front. With the launch of the MkIII version in 1966, the engine was enlarged yet again to 1,275cc and now produced 67bhp. The rear axle ratio was also increased for more relaxed cruising along with a host of minor revisions to the interior and exterior, including more rounded rear wheel arches from 1972. Eminently tuneable, the MkIII is now particularly popular in the many race series that are organised for MG Midgets to compete in. On the road it is an exhilarating car to drive as you always feel like you are going twice as fast as you really are! Dating from March 1969, this Tartan Red MkIII is one of those modified cars with numerous sporting touches including a tuned engine with larger twin SU carbs (hence the bulge in the bonnet), full-flow exhaust manifold, front and rear bumpers removed, rounded rear arches, sports steering wheel and works-type hard top. It rides on a set of sporty wire wheels with good tyres (including the spare). Recently fitted with new carpets, it also comes with a soft top and a tonneau cover. It has been in the current ownership since 2007 but has been more polished than driven in recent times, 10 old MOTs showing that it has only covered around 1,200 miles in the last 10 years. Starting promptly and running nicely as we drove it to take the pictures, it has a pleasingly fruity exhaust note and is in very good order throughout. We have a nice history folder with the car containing some bills and invoices, old mot's and owners handbooks. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. Delivery can be arranged.

1969 Morgan 4/4 Tourer 1600cc. Burgundy with black leather upholstery, full toneau and black mohair hood. This Morgan has a lovely story attached to it and has had only two owners over the last 50 years. The first owner kept the car for over 40 years, having been a wedding present for his new wife. She was a nurse in the local hospital and having nursed him back to health after a nasty accident at work, they fell in love and married with the Morgan as a present and a reminder for years to come, they kept the car until 2011, over 40 years when it was purchased by the most recent keeper from the lady in 2011, he has cherished the car since. There history folder comes complete with a huge folder of bills, invoices and newspaper and magazine articles all about the car and its life with the first owner. The car was well known in the local car clubs and regularly competed in local hill climbs and other motorsport events, a four branch manifold and twin Weber carburettors were fitted during this time. Thecar was continually used up until the sudden passing of the husband when the wife vowed never to sell the car, it was de-tuned in the interests of economy and returned to being a daily driver once again although the subtle modifications stayed. The car underwent a restoration in 1996 with all of the invoices on file and a full engine re-build in 2000. Powered by the very versatile Ford 1600 Crossflow the car drives well and puts a smile on your face. Also in the file is the original green log book and copy of the new style log book issued in 1977. This is a great opportunity to get into Morgan ownership and the classic car movement, an iconic british marque that has admiring glances wherever it goes. This car is ready to be enjoyed in new hands, great for weekend fun or shows and rallies. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. Free U.K mainland delivery. 1961 Morris Mini Cooper MK II. Old English White with Black Roof and grey upholstery. The first Mini Cooper appeared in 1961, following a tie-up with champion F1 constructor John Cooper. The stroke of the standard 848cc engine was lengthened to 997cc which, together with other improvements, raised power output from 34 to 55bhp - a close-ratio gearbox and front wheel disc brakes completed the package. That engine was replaced by a shorter stroke 998cc unit in 1964, while the Mark II version launched in 1967 featured a redesigned grille, larger rear window and numerous cosmetic changes. This MK2 Cooper has remained within its current ownership for 13 years. A genuine example complete with heritage certificate, it features very tidy bodywork that's teamed with fresh Newton Commercial Porcelain Green/Grey Dove interior trim with matching Grey wool carpets. Something of a wolf in sheep's clothing, the car has been uprated to fast road specification in all major departments. The fully refurbished enginehas been taken out to 1330cc (plus 60) and treated to: a Swiftune big valve cylinder head, Mini Spares pistons, steel flywheel and backplate, Russell Engineering RE13 camshaft, ISWS timing chain, LCB manifold leading to an RC40 exhaust system. The four-speed transmission has been refurbished with new bearings, centre pick-up and 3:1 differential. The suspension features a HILO system together with cones. Braking performance has also been increased courtesy of Cooper S front discs with Mintex 1114 pads and Cooper S rims on the rear. Last but not least, this mighty Mini now rides on reverse Cooper wheel rims shod with Yokohama A-008 tyres. Period extras include: an auxiliary Lucas rear reversing light, exterior rear-view mirrors, quick-release radiator grille, wood rim steering wheel, electronic rev-counter and auxiliary battery and oil pressure instrumentation, roof-mounted radio aerial, and leather bonnet strap. The car drives very well and is great fun with strong performance to boot. The car isnow MOT and tax exempt although we will apply a new MOT upon sale for your peace of mind. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. Please visit our Website, find us on Facebook and like us on Instagram or just feel free to email or call us.
