This is one of those very special cars that will be very difficult to repeat and is without doubt the very best Daimler V8 Saloon we have ever owned. Not only has it had a truly top class 800 hour restoration in 2013/2014, it has only covered just 70,000 miles from new, comes with a full history from new to include original service book, MOT's back to 1974, buff logbooks and a full maintenance log with receipts throughout its life time. Adding to this, the car retains its original colour and beautifully aged original Blue leather upholstery. This is an ideal collector's piece that has the perfect combination of provenance and top class condition with originality retained wherever possible. BDG 735B was first registered on the 3rd September 1964 and still retains all original handbooks, Manufacturer's Warranty booklet, Dagenite Battery Guarantee Card, Motor Fuel Rations book and Periodic Maintenance Vouchers Booklet recording the first service by Imperial Motors, Cheltenham on the 2nd October 1967at 468 miles. Walker and Ward Limited in Cheltenham serviced the Daimler at 2667, 4983, 6474, 7546, 8744, 10074, 12484, 15071 and 17398 miles. Services are recorded in the book at 20201 and 25300 in 1970 with an alternative Cheltenham based garage. From 1970 to 1973 the Daimler doubled its mileage to 50,000 and logs of services, maintenance and repairs have been recorded from 1973 to 1984 at 64000 miles. The Daimler was kept off the road from 1985 to 1992 and was MOT tested in 1994, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2004 and 2012 at 66246 miles and receipts and paperwork are available detailing maintenance. In 2013 a fifteen month rebuild commenced and a full photographic record and invoices are in a second comprehensive history file. The Daimler body was totally stripped down and treated to new front cross members, supports and crows feet, new front wheel arch sections were let in, inner arch sections replaced, front doors were treated to new lower sections and rear doors treated to new door skins, new inner andouter rear quarter panels were fitted and the bodyshell taken to bare metal. The engine bay was fully stripped down and treated, the boot area stripped and primed and the entire car carefully prepared and gapped prior to painting. The underside was fully stripped and prepared prior to painting and then treated to waxoyling. All inner box sections, sills, inner door casings were drilled where necessary and pressure injected with waxoyl for maximum protection. All outer trim fixings and chrome were cleaned or replaced as required. In total over 450 hours went into the body restoration. The upholstery was cleaned and treated; inner floors were cleaned and painted as necessary with new soundproofing fitted. A full new carpet set was supplied and fitted, as were new furflexes, new underdash and kick panels were also fitted. New door rubbers and seals were fitted and the boot fully trimmed and upgraded with edged carpet to match the interior. The dashboard was removed and all interior woodwork carefullystripped and re lacquered and re-fitted. A mechanical overhaul included a full engine strip down. All ancillaries included heads and manifolds were media blasted, the block re-honed and waterways chemically cleaned. Crankshaft mains were reground, big ends machined, pistons and rods cleaned and the block reassembled with new bearings, piston rings, rope seals, rubbers and gaskets. Cylinder heads were stripped and re-faced, valves and seats also refaced and lapped. Rocker shafts were overhauled, the oil pump rebuilt, a new type relief valve fitted and a new timing chain with later type tensioner fitted. Cylinder heads and manifolds were reassembled with all new gasket kits, nuts and studs. A new stainless upgraded engine and heater pipe kit was fitted, the water pump rebuilt, as was the dynamo and starter motor. The distributor was also stripped and rebuilt, a new ignitor kit fitted and a complete stainless steel exhaust system fitted. Final detailing to the engine bay included polished rockercovers, carb covers and intakes. The automatic gearbox and torque converter were fully overhauled with new clutch bands, bearings and seals and stainless upgraded gearbox oil cooler pipes fitted. When the engine and gearbox were re-fitted to the immaculate engine bay, all new mountings, rubbers and perishables were replaced. The wiring was repaired and re-lagged, Kevlar engine hoses fitted, a heavy duty race spec upgraded radiator core was fitted and the heater box rebuilt with new heater valve and controls. The steering box was overhauled and later a Vicarage power assisted steering system fitted, all ball joints and track rod ends were replaced, all new bushes and rubbers fitted and new frame mountings and shock absorbers fitted. A new original specification fuel tank was installed, the rear axlecleaned, etch primed and sprayed and a new complete panhard rod fitted. Since completion the Daimler has covered just 4000 miles and we can report the car is outstanding to drive with super light steering, excellent braking and handling, beautiful quiet, strong engine with smooth changing automatic gearbox. It is needless to say BDG 735B is in pristine condition with fabulous paintwork, a superb straight bodyshell with excellent gaps and still retains a show standard engine bay and boot. The spare wheel well is as new, a perfect spare wheel is in place with tool kit present and the inner arches are beautifully painted and the underside simply outstanding. The interior is first class with original leather, stunning woodwork, carpets and headlining and the car is worthy of any collection. This beautifully presented Bentley MKVI Standard Saloon was supplied new on the 24th October 1949 by Jack Barclay Ltd, Hanover Square, London W1 to Eric Low Beer Esq of the Grade II Listed 1439 Medieval Norton Priory in West Sussex. The Bentley was supplied new in Duo Grey with Light Blue leather upholstery and Dark Blue carpets. After three years, the Bentley sold to a G.L Saunders Esq of Knowle Park in Warwickshire and by 1960 the Bentley was back in London W1, owned by Clayton Cars (London) Ltd in Bruton Place. The Bentley was then owned by Chancers Pit Garage in Worcestershire right through to 1977 when the car was sold to a Mr Watson in Gloucester. From 1980 the Bentley was with one owner for 19 years in Cheltenham, 9 years with a second Cheltenham based owner before selling to the most recent owner in Derbyshire back in 2008. 886 PBP was subject of a bare metal, extensive restoration with its most recent Cheltenham based owner but sadly due to ill health the program of work was curtailed. TheBentley was sold in 2008 and the most recent owner commissioned the completion of the major restoration. Having had an exceptional re-paint, the car was treated to re-chromed brightwork (Derby Plating), careful attention was given to the original seat bases and new draught excluders, a new headlining, door cards, carpets and boot carpet were all fitted to ensure a high quality, luxurious finish to the inside of the car. Mechanical work included rebuilding the carburettors, brake servo, replacing gearbox mountings, leather spring gaiters, anti-roll bars, shock absorbers, spring shackles, rear axle mounts, steering column gaiter, fuel pump, ignition system and various new engine gaskets. Door locks were replaced, pedal rubbers replaced, the sunroof mechanism overhauled, new Michelin tyres and a new windscreen fitted, and the MKVI Bentley was also treated to a new clutch, new master cylinder, new exhaust sections and exhaust manifold nuts and gaskets and various switches, knobs and seals replaced. This Bentley MKVI has clearly had very little use since completion of its long-term restoration and it really does present in exceptional condition. The Standard Steel body is outstanding with excellent straight panels, the underneath has been superbly restored and having a first class, gleaming paint finish with the exceptional brightwork, the car is ready for shows and events. The interior has been beautifully restored whilst still retaining much of its original leather that tells us this has never been a 'basket case' or badly stored and deteriorated car. The leather work has a lovely patina and feel to it and with beautiful woodwork, carpets, working sunroof and headlining the Bentley does offer that luxurious, high quality finish that is expected of this wonderful marque. The boot compartment is superbly presented and the engine bay execptional benefitting from some serious attention to detail. 886 PBP does not disappoint on the road with a strong 4257cc engine holding very good oil pressureoffering impressive performance. The manual gearbox changes up and down smoothly with no signs of major wear, another clear indication this car has led a sheltered life. With its rebuilt suspension and braking system the Bentley is a true delight on the road and offers a very special driving experience. The MKVI was known for its refined, responsive drive and this example demonstrates why these cars were and are now still highly sought for their wonderful driving experience. This model was capable of 100mph and whilst we would not attempt anything near this, this very sharp, fit and healthy MKVI certainly feels like it wants to be driven and feels very comfortable underload with excellent power and acceleration delivery. The independent front suspension and leaf-sprung 'live' rear axle really contribute to making this such an incredibly superb car to drive and we are confident it will not disappoint. 886 PBP is a car to summer tour with, it would be ideal for long distance, for taking on theContinent with its impressive performance, high quality ride and with its working sunroof it will make summer rallies and tours even more pleasurable. The Bentley comes with thousands of pounds worth of invoices for the recent expenditure, RREC copy build sheets and continuation logbook copy, tool kit and retains its original chassis and engine confirming this is a matching numbers car. This exceptional original right hand drive MGA Coupe was built between the 2nd and 8th April 1957 and exported new to Switzerland where it has been for the majority of the past 61 years. The MGA was supplied new with wire wheels and kilometres speedo. The MGA has been registered in Switzerland since new and has been meticulously maintained and pampered throughout its life and was also subject of a 1990's restoration. Swiss traffic regulations are extremely strict on car quality, maintenance and overall condition and a stringent Matriculation roadworthy process and check must be carried out to keep the car on the road. This car also has a valued Swiss veteran status meaning it has been subject to a more detailed examination. The MGA has spent most of its life in the sunny region of the southern Swiss Alpes and we are told the car has had just three owners in its lifetime. The last owner, one of our regular customers based in both Switzerland and the Netherlands bought the MGA in 2014. He and hiswife bought the car as a wedding present and it spent most of its time at their Schwyz property and it has been used sparingly in both Switzerland and Holland. They found the car in Ticino whilst enjoying a drive around the Lago Maggiore, the MGA was in the display at the Classic Bugatti Garage Belotti in Locarno in Southern Switzerland. The Bugatti Garage had the MGA displayed with other numerous classics and were convinced of its premium quality and overall excellent condition having known the car very well. The quality of this MGA is first class with exceptional paintwork and bodywork. We know from the history file the car had substantial work during the 1990's and it still retains a beautiful, deep paint finish with superb panels and gaps. The engine bay is superbly presented yet still very usable and the underside is absolutely first class. On arrival the MGA was submitted to our workshops for a check over and we can confirm the car is in excellent mechanical order. The engine is superb withexcellent oil pressure, the four speed gearbox is strong with excellent syncromesh and the brakes, steering and suspension system are all working perfectly. The interior has recently been treated to re-trimmed leather seats and new door cards giving the car an all-round first class finish. The MGA will be UK registered for its next owner if staying in the UK. Price: 34,995

This MGB was the first production MGB GT V8 to be commissioned (the step before a car was Mounted on the Assembly line) and it is confirmed in terms of chassis number, it was the first car number of the production of MGB GT V8s. Further to this interesting early MGB GT V8 history, our car still retains its original colour of Damask Red, original trim colour of Blue, original V8 engine and factory options of alloy wheels, overdrive and inertia reel belts are all still with the car. This incredibly early MG V8 was supplied new by Hartwells Garages Limited, Oxford and registered new YBW 50M in Oxfordshire. This special MGB V8 spent its first year in Oxford and in 1974 made its way down to Devon where it spent most of its life. The car was discovered in 2007 having been barn stored for many years and found in completely original specification but requiring major work with a recorded mileage of 85,000. Over three years YBW 50M was completely rebuilt with Classics Monthly magazine covering the full restoration story. The body required significant restoration and new panels included sills and castle rails. The body was turned on its side, and the outer shell completely rebuilt as required and completely re-painted to an exceptionally high standard in the correct original colour of Damask Red. The engine was found to be seized and on strip down it was surprisingly found to be in pretty good, original condition. The engine was treated to higher compression pistons and new main and big end bearings. On completion of the V8 rebuild, the engine was re-fitted to the nicely prepared engine bay along withvarious new or re-conditioned ancillaries. The brakes, suspension, steering, cooling and fuel systems were overhauled as required, the interior completely re-trimmed in its correct colour and renewed brightwork, excellent original V8 alloys and new tyres finished off the restoration to a very high standard. According to the history file over £33,000 was spent on carrying out the restoration and a photographic record is also present. Having spent 42 years in Devon, almost three years ago YBW 50M came to us from one of our regular, long term customers in Crediton, Devon who further enhanced the car with a brand new stainless steel exhaust system, new electronic fuel pump and various other detailed items. The MG sold immediately on arrival and then spent two years with a long term customer in Derby who changed the GT for a Roadster. Last year, we then sold the V8 for the second time, this time staying local with another long term customer, this one on the outskirts of York who has covered around 1000 faultless miles in the car. The MG is now making way for a collection of British Motorbikes. Since completion of the rebuild the car has covered 5000 miles and is offered onto the market in excellent condition. The bodywork is superb, the underneath body colour and structurally exceptional, chrome work is first class, as are the V8 wheels and the engine bay is very well presented. Having been professionally re-trimmed the upholsteryis first class and the car presents as a sharp, correct, stunning example that is ready to drive and be enjoyed. On the road YBW 50M is everything you would hope for from an MG V8. Its powerful and super quick, the four speed gearbox is slick and the overdrive comes in and out smoothly, the handling and responsive braking are impressive and with a superb exhaust note and V8 burble this is a car you can drive and listen too with absolute pleasure. There is no doubt this is a very special car not only in terms of condition but provenance, original specification and of course being the first commissioned factory MGB GT V8. Price: £39,995

We are delighted to offer this beautifully presented, low mileage Mercedes Benz 500SL onto the market. Finished in the highly desirable rare colour of Anthracite Grey, this is one of the very late R107 models that feature the more powerful 242bhp engine and improved handling thanks to the revised front suspension. Without doubt, this one of the best SL models of a range that spanned an impressive eighteen years. This example has covered just 70,000 miles and has had just two owners from new and comes with the desirable rear seats option, retains beautiful full Grey leather upholstery, excellent soft top and factory hard top. The 500SL spent its first 26 years with one owner in the North West, supplied new out of Liverpool to Lancashire based owners. Over the first ten years of ownership, the Mercedes Benz covered little over 43,000 miles and from 1999 to 2009 mileage slowed down, only covering 16000 miles. From 2009 to 2015, the SL only covered 600 miles and sold to its second owner in Hale,Cheshire with 59800 miles, clearly being sold due to lack of use. From 2015 to 2019 the second owner has thoroughly enjoyed the car, covering over 10,000 miles in four years. The SL has been used for some classic shows, the summer office commute into Manchester and general weekend use. The car has been incredibly well maintained with invoices totalling over 4000 and include regular servicing, a new stainless-steel exhaust system and new rear brake discs and pads. F425 PNC has arrived with us in lovely condition throughout. On close inspection its clear to see the SL has led a sheltered life and has spent much of its time well garaged and carefully stored. The car presents beautifully with a lovely deep Grey paint finish, the bodywork is generally in excellent order and the Grey leather upholstery is lovely throughout fitting with its low mileage of 70,000. Alloy wheels are in excellent order, the engine bay and boot area is well presented and on the road the car does not disappoint. Performancefrom the 5.0 V8 engine and four speed automatic transmission are excellent, it cruises, holds the road and handles perfectly and there is no doubt, these iconic long distance luxury open top tourers offer power, performance, comfort, class and will continue to be in high demand.
