Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato Chassis:- 20045 Engine No:- V580/0045/X First registered:- March 1988 Mileage:- 4,200 / Kilometres:- 6,700 Owners:- 2 Exterior:- Blue Sera (special colour only one) Interior:- Slate Grey with blue carpet and Alcantara Background: Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1986, the V8 Vantage Zagato coupe rekindled the relationship between Aston Martin and the famed Italian styling house Zagato, a relationship first created with the collaboration of the two brands in 1960 with the DB4GT Zagato and which continues, through the DB7 Zagato and V12 Vantage Zagato to this day, with the current Vanquish Zagato. Announced as a limited edition of 50 production cars and built to compete with the contemporary and extreme performance models from Ferrari, in the form of the 288GTO and Porsches 959 models. The 1st production prototype Vantage Zagato, was independently timed at 186 mph, on a deserted Autoroute by Sport Auto magazine that year and accelerated from 0-60 mph in just 4.8 seconds. Ultimately 50 production cars and 2 prototypes were built. The 432 bhp version of the renowned Aston Martin V8 Vantage X pack engine propelled the shorter, lighter weight and more aerodynamically bodied chassis of the Vantage Zagato. Resulting in an agile and extreme performance experience. Driver focused handling and road holding, braking, acceleration and top speed, were just some of the benefits enjoyed by the 50 lucky owners. Developed with the aid of wind tunnel testing the handsome body shape divided opinion in 1986 but has proved, as with previous Zagato bodied cars, to have stood the test of time and now acquired true collectors status. The car offered: The car we are offering, chassis No:-0045 was built to order for the first owner, a family member of the founder of German media group Axel Springer and was primarily driven on trips between Germany and the UK, prior to changing hands in 1990 with 4,500 kilometres recorded. Sold via Aston Martins London showrooms, to the second and last owner it has remained in a world-class collection until today. Maintained and cared for by the last owners resident technicians and used only on special occasions, this car remained his pride and joy, until his passing. One of the last built examples and 1 of only 21, original LHD cars built. The car has a total of 4,000 miles / 6,500 kilometres recorded and has just received a major service and preparation by Aston Martin Heritage agents, prior to being offered for sale. A comprehensive schedule of these works is supplied, complete with its original owners handbooks and service booklet, spare wheel, tool roll and jack. Within the history file are photographs taken in 1990, recording the last owner personally taking delivery from Victor Gauntlett, then Chairman and co-owner of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. The lowest mileage LHD car known, this model is one of Aston Martins greatest driving cars, created with performance and exclusivity in mind. Over the last 30 years the X pack- engine Vantage Zagato, has gained legendary status and forms the basis of many Aston Martin collections worldwide, with a superb example having been displayed at the Villa DEste Concour d elegance in 2016.

A statement of sheer exclusivity. The ultimate expression of everything that Aston Martin stands for. The fusion of traditional craftsmanship with modern technologies. Declarations made by Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez and his fellow directors, when asked to explain the astonishing Aston Martin One-77 to the worlds motoring press, at its reveal at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009. Launched at a time when the global financial crisis of the late noughties was in full flight, the £1.2 million One-77 was none the less, a resounding success and as the name implies, just 77 cars were to be built. Since being manufactured, these superlative cars have found their way into significant and private classic and supercar car collections, around the globe. The amazing One-77s, as delivered to their lucky owners, did indeed achieve the goals set out by Dr Bez team in every respect and more beside. Strikingly beautiful and purposeful to look at, each car unique to its owners specifications, was constructed within a purpose built mini-factory by a small group of selected Aston Martin technicians. Produced not on a production line but by dedicated teams, from the finest bespoke components unique to the One-77 model. The One-77 carbon fibre chassis is fitted with a 7.3 litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, developed in partnership with Cosworth producing 750 BHP and 750 ft/lbs of torque. Clothed in a hand formed aluminium body and timed at 220 mph, with 62 mph coming up in just 3.5 seconds, the One-77 was by far the fastest and most powerful Aston Martin ever offered for road use. Receiving the Design Award of the Concourso dEleganzo at Villa dEste in 2009, seemed fitting and further established the dynamic One-77 as an icon of Aston Martins history. With only 77 examples existing, this extreme and wonderfully evocative expression of Aston Martin engineering, design and dynamic performance, is undoubtedly one of the greatest achievements of Aston Martin manufacture and a fitting tribute to its passionate and visionary creators. The example we are proud to offer, built in 2011 and has had just one owner from new, has been serviced annually by the manufacturer and now covered a mere 3,250 km. UK registered and EU taxes paid, a comprehensive track pack of tools, safety seats and special tooling is available with the car which has just received its annual service. We delighted to have the car available for viewing at our showrooms 20 miles from central London, in Hertfordshire

In 1965 the first Shelby GT350 Mustangs were produced and there were only 516 road going versions out of a total of 562 made in that year. This is a highly valuable two digit [068) production number that was hand made in Shelby's Venice Beach facility. No.068 is a beautiful example that was imported into Australia in 2013 and has been treated to a complete nut and bolt rotisserie restoration to an excellent finish by Australian's best Shelby restorer.

First shown at the 1959 London Motor Show, the DB4GT was described as Britains fastest passenger car. A thinly disguised competition car, which could be raced on Sunday and driven to the office on Monday. The DB4GT differs significantly from the production DB4, in having a shorter wheelbase and a competition developed engine amongst other improvements. The improved power to weight ratio of the DB4 GT, proved competitive in period when pitched against contemporary Ferrari and Jaguar competition models, campaigned in International Sportscar racing. Driven by luminaries Stirling Moss, Jim Clark, Innes Ireland and many other legendary drivers, the DB4GT set a new bench mark for Aston Martins, competing from the front of the grid. Homologated in period for International Sports Car Racing, a number of DB4GTs are now successfully campaigned in prestigious historic races, including the Classic Le Mans and Goodwood Revival meetings. Chassis 0157/R, the car we are proud to offer was built and delivered to its first owner in 1961, unusually fitted with occasional rear seats and finished in Dubonnet Rosso. Reportedly owned for a short period in 1962 by legendary comedy actor Peter Sellers, 0157/R subsequently became the star car featuring in the 1963 British film 'The Wrong Arm of the Law, featuring Peter Sellers himself. Whilst filming, the car was returned to Aston Martin with a damaged engine and rebuilt with a new block to 4.0 litre capacity, which remains installed. After immortalisation on celluloid, 0157/R was driven in a limited number of UK club events in the hands of its next owner, before relocating with the next owner to New Zealand in 1985. Returning to the UK in the late 1990s, 0157/R was entrusted to well-known UK marque specialists for a complete body off restoration by new enthusiast owner Kevin Regan, being completed in 2003. Featured in Octane magazine, November 2003 issue, when pitched against a Ferrari 250 SWB, this superb car has since been part of an extensive UK based Aston Martin collection. Professionally housed and occasionally driven on weekends, whilst being regularly attended and serviced. With just 75 DB4GT constructed and well chronicled in various AMOC journals including The Aston Martin DB4GT', published by Palawan Press, the DB4GT's place in the pantheon of historic sports racing cars is clearly defined and we are delighted, to bring to market this exceptional example. Complete with it's interesting and well chronicled history, supported with a comprehensive history file containing build records, early factory service records, a Heritage certificate, maintenance invoices and a photo record, of the restoration and detailed historic dossier of 0157/R, conducted by Aston Martin historian and author Steven Archer.

The start of the 3rd Millenium was a great time for Ferrari, not only on the road but also on the track; 6 Constructors' titles between 1999 and 2004 saw the Prancing Horses dominate the F1 calendar year-on-year, with Schumacher at the top of his form. It was at this time that Luca Di Montezemolo embarked on creating a car to reflect this motorsport success and bring such technology to the road; a project that would be dedicated to the Founder of the company. September 2002 was the first chance the world got to see the Ferrari Enzo at the Paris Auto Show; although technically the successor to the F50, the Enzo was a car to represent everything great about the brand and complement competition success with the ultimate supercar at the time. To achieve this, the Ferrari Enzo featured the pinnacle of technology, engineering and design, while all the while taking great influence from Schumacher's multiple title-winning car. This relationship can be most obviously seen in how focused the Enzo is;designed for maximum performance and downforce with a lack of creature comforts such as a radio. At the heart of the previously dubbed F60 is a 660 bhp Tipo F140B V12 mated to the fastest F1 gearbox seen at the time, propelling the beautiful body to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and on to a top speed of 217. In-keeping with the previous 'special-series' production cars, the Enzo's production was limited to just 399 examples, with the 400th example being gifted to Pope John Paul II. Naturally all cars were instantly accounted for, with values of Enzos never dropping to anywhere near the original sales price of less than 500,000. This particular example is quite literally the only example in the world to have been finished in naked Carbon Fibre. Originally delivered in Rosso Corsa, this car was sent back to Maranello to have the refinishing done in period. The interior Carbon Fibre, and Engine bay have been finished in Rosso Carbon, and the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail make this car a sightto behold. The Ferrari Enzo remains to this day one of the most important and eye-catching Prancing Horses ever to leave Maranello, with this example sitting as not only one of the most striking, but also one of the most beautiful and important Enzos ever produced.
