This is a car that must be driven to be appreciated, it really is exceptional and clearly been rebuilt to an excellent standard in terms of mechanicals. Body wise the MG is also impressive having had acomprehensive restoration in 2008 that included new inner and outer sills, wing panels and jacking points. SPY 928R was built on the 18th-19th May 1977 and left the factory finished in Tahiti Blue with Autumn Leaf upholstery and Black hood. The car was supplied new with Rostyle wheels by Middlesbrough dealership Charles G S Buist Limited and registered on the 7th July 1977. The MG has arrived with us as per factory specification and comes with an exceptional, detailed history file dating back to when the car was just a few years old. MOT records date back to when the MG was just six years with a recorded mileage of 53584 miles and certificates from the 1980's, 1990's and 2000's are with the car up to today's mileage of 92,200. Our MG Midget comes an excellent service record with invoices dating back to 1981. Pages and pages of service receipts are with the car whilst it had one owner from 1981 to the early 1990's. In 1985/1986 the car was taken to Darlington based MG specialists and was subject of a major restoration. The car was stripped down with all external parts, engine and interior removed, thebodyshell stream cleaned and inner wings were sand blasted. The shell was restored as necessary with new inner and outer sills, new A posts, various wing and door repairs panels and then fully prepared and re-painted in the cars original colour. The engine was stripped and rebuilt with new bearings, re-conditioned camshaft, new timing chain, oil pump, re-ground crankshaft and a new clutch fitted. The gearbox was stripped, and seals replaced and the braking system and suspension were rebuilt and the car then fully built up with some new trim work. At under ten years old and 62,000 miles the car had a huge level of expenditure and all invoices and relevant paperwork is with the car. In 1990, the MG was fitted with a new 'Gold Seal' 1500cc engine and regular invoices for maintenance follow on right throughout the 1990's where mileage was slowing down at 91000 in 1996. According to MOT records by 2003 the MG had covered 91201 miles and then spent a significant amount of time off the road. Photos withthe car show a further full re-paint with various bodywork being carried out since coming off the road and in 2010 the MG was back on the road in use, mileage recorded at 91323. Since then the car has covered a further 900 miles and has been regularly maintained with invoices present for recent work. SPY 928R is a perfectly usable, honest and strong driving example that has come to us from one of our regular customers. The MG drives well with a strong engine and gearbox and has only covered 10,000 miles on its brand new 'Gold Seal' engine from 1990. The bodywork is solid and straight with nice older paintwork, the interior is very well presented with an original honest feel and the car can be further improved with some engine bay detailing. This good value, great driving car is an ideal entry level classic that can provide lots of fun and has the added value of an excellent history. Price: 4,995

This is an opportunity to own and enjoy a true collector's piece being one of reportedly just three Jaguar E-Type's known to have survived in the special-order colour of 'Porsche Tangerine'. WLO 257G is a UK RHD matching numbers car that was manufactured on the 30th October 1968 and was distributed by Henlys, London in its Special-order exterior paint, Black leather upholstery and with manual transmission. The previous owner learned through the Jaguar Enthusiast Club that two of Henleys Directors had ordered an E-Type each in this colour and Jaguar told them that they could only do this 'special order' if they ordered a minimum of six matching cars. It was extremely rare for Jaguar to stray from their own colour schemes on offer, but Henleys would have undoubtedly had elevated influence given they were England's leading motor agents at the time. From the comprehensive history with the car we know it was sold to a lady with 600 miles recorded in 1970 at just two years old. The E-Type was later ownedby the UK Director for Seaforth Export Ltd who had offices in London, Tel Aviv, New York, Dusseldorf and Stockholm. The UK Director and owner of the car, Mr Campbell kept the car until 1978 with a mileage warranted at 34,400 and by now the car had been colour changed to Red. The car was then sold by the London based E-Type Centre to a private owner in Poole, Dorset who kept the car for 19 years, selling it in 1997 with a mileage of 55965. Invoices for maintenance and servicing are with the car right throughout the 1980's and 1990's. From 1997/1998 the E-Type was in South Wales and this is where the car has spent the majority of the past twenty years plus. WLO 257G had two owners in South Wales before arriving with us in 2016 with 78,000 warranted miles covered from new. MOT records date back to 1978 but we can see from this documentation the E-Type covered 22,000 miles during its time in South Wales. By 2016, the E-Type arrived with us in North Yorkshire looking externally rather tatty butremarkably original inside. At this point we commissioned a programme of refurbishment work at our Malton Coachworks restoration facility. The E-Type was completely stripped down to the a rolling shell and the body was then fully prepared with interior and gearbox/engine removed for a complete inside and out re-paint in the cars correct original colour of Porsche Tangerine. The body was restored as required and then professionally prepared for an outstanding full re-paint. The underside was also fully re-painted and the glass like finish is equally as impressive underneath the car. WLO 257G was built up with new lights, rubbers, seals, trims, wing beading, clips, joints, screws, hinge bushes, springs and renewed chrome work. The 78,000 mile from new engine was checked over, found in strong condition and then treated to extensive detailing prior to re-fitting to the car. The gearbox was fully overhauled prior to re-fit and the differential unit also fully rebuilt. The E-Type was then treated topowder coated suspension arms, air intake and air filter housing. During built up, the E-Type was treated to new suspension bushes, ball joints, ball joint boots, new wheel bearings, front and rear shock absorbers, new brake calipers, new brake discs and pads, new brake master cylinder, all new brake flexi hoses, new alternator and belts, new coolant hoses, re-conditioned radiator, new manifold to head gasket, new inlet to head gasket, new manifolds, new stainless steel exhaust system, new clutch and slave cylinder, new engine and gearbox mountings, all new ignition items and various electrical work. The E-Type was then treated to a new set of chrome wire wheels and new tyres, re-conditioned hood frame, brand new Black mohair hood, re-trimmed door cards, centre console, leather seats and brand new carpet set and boot kit. On completion we sold the E-Type to a long-term customer, JEC member and friend of ours back in South Wales. Since then, WLO 257G has covered in the region of 1000 miles and hasbeen beautifully detailed and taken to many shows and events. The E-Type has attended South Wales JEC events and enjoyed fine weather use only. The car returns to us in truly outstanding condition with a first class bodyshell demonstrating excellent straight panels and gaps, a truly outstanding gleaming paint finish, a first class show standard underside, engine bay and boot compartment, an excellent well-presented upholstery and stunning gleaming brightwork. The car is quite simply outstanding and on the road this E-Type is equally as impressive. The lovely original six cylinder engine pulls strongly holding very good oil pressure, it feels, performs and sounds superb and the rebuilt all syncro gearbox offers smooth, perfect changes, the differential is lovely and quiet, handling and braking are first class having been re-conditioned and rebuilt and everything functions as it should. WLO 257G has been rebuilt to an exceptional standard and with its impressive provenance, almost unique factorycolour, it is a true genuine collectors piece that will prove very difficult to repeat. The very impressive gearbox is a design incorporating new gear sets and the gearbox uses the standard MOSS stud pattern and spigot, the main case and tail housing are manufactured from aircraft grade billet alloy and the box is much quieter in service. The gear lever is also in the correct position and looks standard making this a very attractive upgrade. Further upgrades include a 1600 complete new stainless steel exhaust system including manifolds. The E-Type has a superb exhaust note enhancing the enjoyable driving experience. Since restoration, between 2001 and 2012 a further 14000 was spent on the car. This included annual maintenance and servicing, new ball joints, track rod ends, tyres and various other new parts . The E-Type only covered 2500 miles from 2001-2012 and we sold the E-Type in late 2012 to a local customer who intended using the car for long distance touring. From late 2012 to late 2014, the E-Type covered 8000 faultless miles. On one occasion the E-Type toured France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany and Switzerland. The car performed superbly and was tested over the Alpes dealing with high gradients without fault. Over this one trip 6691 FH covered 2000 miles. Between late 2012 and 2014, in the region of 15000 was been spentensuring this is one of the most superbly set up and top class driving early E-Types we've seen in recent years. Work included rebuilding the cylinder head (over 4,000 alone) with new cam followers, valve springs, camshaft bearings, re-lined valves etc. Preparation prior to European touring included all new wheel cylinders and thousands of pounds have been spent on detail improvements such as a new headlining, door panels, rear arch covers and rear 1/4 panels. Invoices for all recent work are with the car. Having covered 8000 miles in two years, the owner decided to part with the car in late 2014 and we sold the E-Type to a British collector based in mainland Europe. Having been so incredibly well set up for European touring, the new owner collected the E-Type from us in Malton and drove the car faultlessly back to Switzerland. We are delighted to own this fabulous Lancia Aprilia, a genuine UK London RHD supplied car that comes with an exceptional history. These very sought after cars are famous for being a Mille Miglia, Monte Carlo Rally, Spa 24 hours, Leige-Rome-Liege and Targa Abruzzo class winner. They were based around a lightweight, four door pillarless monocoque equipped with all round independent suspension, four wheel hydraulic brakes and powered by a narrow angle 1352cc V4 engine with four speed manual transmission. They were particularly advanced for this era and generation; handling was very impressive and with a top speed of 80mph this really was an exciting car of its day. Our London registered car still retains its original registration mark FLE 851 and comes with an impressive, comprehensive history file dating back to the 1960's. The cars continuation brown 'buff' logbook tells us the Lancia was in Woking in 1961, Hemel Hempstead in 1965, Earls Court Square, London in 1968 and by 1969 it was purchased bya Hampshire based owner who kept the car for almost 25 years. Correspondence in the history tells us the car required restoration work on initial purchase to include an engine rebuild, interior re-trim, re wire and bodywork. After 24 years of regular use, it was in need of work again when selling the car in the early 1990's. A photo record from 1993 shows the Aprilia in need of restoration and over three years the car was taken to a beautiful standard and was then ready for shows, events and long distance touring. Photos show the Lancia throughout the 1990's at various places to include the Bristol Lancia AGM on its first outing since completion in 1996 and touring France and Italy later in the year, photos of the car on the Monte Cenis pass and in Longotto,Turin. In 1997 the Lancia completed the Sliding Pillar rally, in May 1997 it featured at the Lancia Club rally in France and in September 1997 the car was present at Castle Combe and Hollyhouse Farm. In April 1998 the car was back in France onthe Celtic Rally Brittany and from previous MOT certificates we can see the Lancia covered approaching 5000 miles from rebuild completion in 1996 to the early 2000's. Between 2008 and 2010 in the region of 20,000 was spent on FLE 851 to include almost 15,000 with Omicron Classico, much of their work was carried out on the engine. The Lancia was also treated to a professional re-spray. The engine rebuild included the entire bottom end being re-white metalled, a new set of liners were machined, pistons were re-machined, the crankshaft was re-installed and the end float set and the engine completely rebuilt. The cylinder head overhauled and re-installed and a new clutch also fitted. Since this work the Lancia has covered just 1000 miles. The Aprilia has arrived with us in delightful condition, driving very well with a lovely strong engine holding very good oil pressure, delightful gearbox and as reported in its early days, it's a very advanced 1940's car that is truly fabulous to drive. Nine yearsafter its rep-paint the finish has nicely aged, it has a lovely deep finish, the bodywork has lovely straight panels, chrome work is bright and the interior is delightful. This is a very exciting car, it's a rare genuine RHD car with superb provenance and its condition is just perfect for what it did so well during the 1990's, for driving, long distance touring and shows/events. We are delighted once again to offer this exceptional, correct car back onto market having spent the past 12 months with one of our Nottinghamshire based long term regular customers. This is a very rare opportunity to purchase a first class, fully rebuilt Triumph TR2 that has covered in the region of 1500 miles since a complete nut and bolt restoration in 2014. There is no doubt this TR has show winning potential and also boasts huge provenance being a genuine UK car with matching numbers, original registration mark that has been restored with photo record to original specification including interior and exterior colours. The car VAF 344 has absolute true provenance being completely correct and it is no doubt better than the day it left the factory. This outstanding vehicle was restored by a restoration expert with a keen eye for detail. Many years ago we sold the best MG Midget we had ever seen, restored by the same owner and this car was also restored to a totally original specification. This MGhas gone on to win multiple show winning events and since restoring the MG, a Triumph GT6 was restored and has since featured in magazines with the quality of restoration being one of the main focuses of the article. The results of this long term TR2 rebuild are impressive and the entire restoration has been done to a very high standard. VAF 344 was registered new in Cornwall and an initial rebuild in the South West began well over thirty years ago. It was not completed or put back on the road and several years ago was purchased by the restorer. Everything on this car was either restored or replaced by new items. The car is totally original and it resembles the car as it left the factory and has a totally exceptional, immaculate underside.
