This is one of the most unique Jaguar MKII's we have ever come across. This car has had a reported 60,000 spent on a major restoration and modifications enabling the car to be the ideal every day use MKII Jaguar. The beginning of the process was to find a suitable rust free car and the long term owner sourced a right hand drive New Zealand car that is in fact a very early 1959 manufactured car. The Jaguar, a 3.8 automatic was number 1500 off the production line and therefore a first year production car and this is confirmed with a Heritage trust letter. In 2002, now in the UK the rebuild began with a full strip down to bare metal .The body was found to be in excellent order and was prepared as necessary for a top class re-paint. The restoration was carried out by Grace Jaguar and James Watt Automotive in Staffordshire. James Watt spent almost 400 hours on the car prior it going to Hampton Coachtrimming for a full re-trim. Seats were re-trimmed in top quality leather and the headlining and sunvisorstrimmed in suede. A significant modification and part of the restoration was removing the running gear and replacing it with a 2.8 Nissan diesel engine and automatic gearbox enabling exceptional fuel economy and modern performance. Many years were spent restoring this fascinating car and since completion it has only covered 1400 miles. The car arrived with us having only covered 750 miles, most of this recently after the rebuild. Having been in dry storage with very little use over the past few years, a program of work totalling in the region of 4000 has been carried out and 650 miles of road testing has been covered. Work includes a full service, re-conditioned turbo, new subframe mountings, re-conditioned fuel tank, new glow plugs and control relay, new steering shaft UJ and the propshaft has been balanced. The car today presents superbly with its absolutely stunning straight bodyshell free from corrosion issues with beautiful top class metallic paintwork and gleaming chrome finishing the car offperfectly. Wire wheels are also excellent, the upholstery as expected with the low mileage since completion is beautiful and boasts impressive, expensively finished woodwork. On the road the Jaguar offers a totally different driving experience. The 2.8 modern engine is in excellent order, is responsive and offers impressive performance. The automatic gearbox changes smoothly and the handling and braking are top quality with upgraded brakes and power assisted steering. The cost of build is considerably more than the price offered thus offering an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a heavily modified MKII Jaguar that is capable of daily use. Price: 49,995

The 1966 London Motor Show saw the launch of the Jensen Interceptor, designed by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan. Jensen's new model saw a radical change after the fibre glass body construction of the CV8 and 541 models. The Interceptor featured an all steel body and the chassis featured independent front suspension with a live rear axle and disc brakes all round. The Chrysler 7212cc V8 engine was used offering outstanding performance, and the interior was finished to an incredibly high standard featuring Connolly leather and Wilton carpets. The Interceptor was built to a high specification with electric windows, power steering and air-conditioning. In 1969 saw the launch of the Interceptor II which saw minor changes to the cars frontal styling and interior and a further update was seen in 1971 with the introduction of the MKIII model featuring alloy wheels and larger capacity engine offering 330bhp. This beautifully presented Royal Blue example was supplied new on the 19th October 1973 firstregistered 999 SPC. The Jensen was supplied new by Charles Follet Ltd, London to a Mr Laubscher Esq in Kensington, W8. The Jensen was ordered new from the factory in Mustard with a Black vinyl roof and Black leather and in the first two years covered around 8000 miles and paperwork with the car confirms various early warranty work to include a new wiper rack, fan switch, dip switch, flasher unit, new pinion oil seal, new half shaft oil seals and new exhaust silencer. Having later changed hands, the Jensen was re-registered RUF 787M and we know from paperwork with the car that a lady owner in Somerset owned the car during the late 1990's and early 2000's. She sold the Jensen in 2002, the car then having another Somerset based owner who during his time of ownership had the car fully re-painted in Royal Blue. In 2011, the Jensen was sold to an Isle of Man based Estate Agent who played a key role in the Isle of Man classic car scene. From 2011 to 2018 the Jensen was on the Isle of Man and severalinvoices from Jensen specialists Richard Appleyard Engineering Ltd are with the car. It would seem the Interceptor had gentle use, attending many of the Isle of Man classic car events before returning to UK mainland in 2018. The car was delivered to Richard Appleyard Engineering and put through a program of work to include a new steering rack, new alternator, new front suspension poly bushes, two uprated window cogs, a new electric choke and new Wilton carpet set. In the region of 5,000 has been spent on the car but due to a change in circumstances, the new owner has not used the car and it stayed in storage until we collected it from the Derbyshire based specialists. The Jensen has arrived with us in lovely condition, presenting exceptionally well with a stunning, deep Royal Blue paint finish. The bodywork is excellent with structurally superb straight panels, an excellent underbody and no major blemishes or concerns. The chrome work is all of a high standard, alloy wheels are in lovely conditionand the under-bonnet area presents well. The Black leather trim has beautifully aged and whilst we cannot guarantee the mileage, the largely original trim does fit with a recorded mileage of little over 70,000. The leather is clean, smart, well presented, the headlining is in lovely order and the dashboard and walnut are in very good condition. Having inspected the Jensen in our workshop, we can confirm it has a strong 7212cc engine that holds impressive oil pressure reading 70psi under acceleration on a mechanical gauge. The engine offers impressive performance, the automatic gearbox changes perfectly up and down the gearbox and the car drives incredibly well. Having not been used over the past 12 months or so, the Interceptor will be freshly serviced and supplied with 12 months MOT and warranty within our asking price. This is a very sharp, well presented and incredibly usable Interceptor III that should offer excellent value. Price: 49,995

This is the not the typical, average Ford Mustang 289 V8 Coupe we see on the UK market. This is a very correct, original car with provenance, exceptional history dating back to 1966 and a genuine 66,000 miles from new. The Ford was supplied new by Fred Lautze Inc on Airport Blvd, San Francisco, California on the 21st April 1966 to Fulvio Garzoli, a WWII veteran of the US Navy residing in San Francisco. The Mustang then spent 33 years in the City (its whole time in the USA), changing hands just small number of times. The original Ford Mustang service book is with the car confirming early maintenance at 2352, 4915, 7984, 12319, 17392 and 21540 miles in 1970. The Mustang was later sold and owned for many years by a Mrs Ferrari in Foster City, South San Francisco and a file of paperwork for maintenance is with the car. In 1999 the Mustang sold again, this time to a Motoring Journalist in the Inner Richmond district of San Francisco. In 2002, its owner moved to London, shipping his beloved originalMustang with him where it was then registered OGC 570D. In 2004, the Ford had to be sold and was purchased by the most recent owner who since moved from the London area to rural North Yorkshire. This car was the first purchase of a very impressive large classic car collection and during the 15 years of ownership, never once failed or let its owner down, proving a strong, robust and reliable original car. OGC 570D presents very well with a superb, strong straight bodyshell. There are no signs of any corrosion issues and being a true California car, its clear to see the bodywork has never required major work. The car has required no paintwork whilst in the UK and has a very original look and feel to it. It still retains a good shine, there are odd marks and blemishes associated with age, but ultimately it looks like a really honest, strong original car that has never required restoration. The chrome work is bright, wheels are in good condition, the glass is very good and the underside of the vehicleis structurally outstanding as we would expect having had the climate of California for the majority of its life. The upholstery appears correct and appears to be totally original. The seats, door cards, headlining, dashboard and carpets are all in very good order, as is the correct boot floor mat and spare wheel cover. The car is quite clearly very genuine and its condition both inside and out would suggest its never had a hard life and supports the paperwork in being a very low mileage example. We road tested and checked over this Ford Mustang on the North Yorkshire Moors and considering its had very little recent use, it performed well. Being part of a large collection often means lack of use and having owned the car for fifteen years, the owner has decided to part with the car and concentrate on UK marques. On a 25 minute road test up steep hills, down narrow lanes and the occasional long straight near Blakey Ridge in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park the Mustang wasimpressive. The V8 engine performed faultlessly, the smooth automatic gearbox shifts and changes up and down the gearbox nicely. Once a buyer is secured, we will then MOT test the Ford and carry out a service will include replacement fluids and a brake strip and clean before going to its next owner. OGC 570D is a very affordable entry into the V8 muscle car world but with much more than the average Mustang. Finding such an honest, original and untouched example could prove very difficult, but even more rare is finding a car with history back to new with its original service book, a genuine low mileage of 66,000 and the fact this is a genuine rust free California car that has spent most of its life in one US City. This is a fabulous opportunity, a great car to use, enjoy and continue to preserve. Price: 23,995

This superb driving MG TD has come to us from a long term regular customer and has recently been treated to 4,750 of work to include a five speed gearbox conversion, fully rebuilt wheel cylinders, new brake shoes, brake master cylinder, a brake master cylinder remote reservoir, seat belts and front crank oil seal. The MG as result is an excellent driving car and is ideal for longer distance cruising with the benefit of its recently fitted five speed gearbox. This delightfully presented MG TD was manufactured in 1952 and was registered new in the United States of America. The MG was shipped to the UK in 1990 having been in Minnesota has covered approaching 19,000 miles in the 28 years its spent in the UK. From 1990 to 2014 in the MG had one owner in the South West before selling to one of our long term customers in Peacehaven, East Sussex. The MG came up to Yorkshire in part exchange and we sold the car to one of our northern based customers. YSU 197 has come to us in exceptional condition and hasbeen restored to a very high standard. The first restoration we are aware of was back in 1985-1986 over in the U.S. At this point the car was totally stripped down, re-worked as necessary and totally re-painted. We have a report from the early 1990's confirming the MG had covered around 1500 miles since and was in very good order. All components and parts were replaced or overhauled and it was reported there was no rust visible on the car. We have invoices for various remedial works in the early 1990's and annual mileages tell us the MG has been in regular use since coming over to the U.K. It is clear from the stunning, glass finish paintwork that it has been re-painted over the past ten years and the upholstery is beautiful having been totally re-trimmed many years ago. The interior boasts stunning Black leather seats, brand new carpets, superb dash cover and excellent door cards. The vinyl hood is old but in very good order, replaced when initially restored in the late 1980's and the MG alsocomes with side screens and tonneau cover. The engine bay is beautifully presented and detailed, the chrome work gleams and wheels and tyres are in excellent order. The body panels are in excellent order, the body is structurally superb with an excellent chassis and the panels perfectly straight. The MG is strong mechanically with a very good engine holding excellent oil pressure. The MG handles and brakes well, the gear changes are perfect as expected with a brand new gearbox and the TD will be supplied with a full 12 months. The MG was converted from LHD to RHD in 2015 and we believe the car has been used for overseas touring, hence being kept in LHD format until recent years. This is an ideal choice if looking for a top class TD that has proven reliability and is capable of long distance touring. The car comes with a detailed history file with thousands of pounds worth of invoices and we also know the car was used for an Exeter investment Company marketing campaign, featuring on the front coverof their brochure and in many newspaper advertisements.
