This beautifully presented Bentley MKVI Standard Saloon was supplied new on the 24th October 1949 by Jack Barclay Ltd, Hanover Square, London W1 to Eric Low Beer Esq of the Grade II Listed 1439 Medieval Norton Priory in West Sussex. The Bentley was supplied new in Duo Grey with Light Blue leather upholstery and Dark Blue carpets. After three years, the Bentley sold to a G.L Saunders Esq of Knowle Park in Warwickshire and by 1960 the Bentley was back in London W1, owned by Clayton Cars (London) Ltd in Bruton Place. The Bentley was then owned by Chancers Pit Garage in Worcestershire right through to 1977 when the car was sold to a Mr Watson in Gloucester. From 1980 the Bentley was with one owner for 19 years in Cheltenham, 9 years with a second Cheltenham based owner before selling to the most recent owner in Derbyshire back in 2008. 886 PBP was subject of a bare metal, extensive restoration with its most recent Cheltenham based owner but sadly due to ill health the program of work was curtailed. TheBentley was sold in 2008 and the most recent owner commissioned the completion of the major restoration. Having had an exceptional re-paint, the car was treated to re-chromed brightwork (Derby Plating), careful attention was given to the original seat bases and new draught excluders, a new headlining, door cards, carpets and boot carpet were all fitted to ensure a high quality, luxurious finish to the inside of the car. Mechanical work included rebuilding the carburettors, brake servo, replacing gearbox mountings, leather spring gaiters, anti-roll bars, shock absorbers, spring shackles, rear axle mounts, steering column gaiter, fuel pump, ignition system and various new engine gaskets. Door locks were replaced, pedal rubbers replaced, the sunroof mechanism overhauled, new Michelin tyres and a new windscreen fitted, and the MKVI Bentley was also treated to a new clutch, new master cylinder, new exhaust sections and exhaust manifold nuts and gaskets and various switches, knobs and seals replaced. This Bentley MKVI has clearly had very little use since completion of its long-term restoration and it really does present in exceptional condition. The Standard Steel body is outstanding with excellent straight panels, the underneath has been superbly restored and having a first class, gleaming paint finish with the exceptional brightwork, the car is ready for shows and events. The interior has been beautifully restored whilst still retaining much of its original leather that tells us this has never been a 'basket case' or badly stored and deteriorated car. The leather work has a lovely patina and feel to it and with beautiful woodwork, carpets, working sunroof and headlining the Bentley does offer that luxurious, high quality finish that is expected of this wonderful marque. The boot compartment is superbly presented and the engine bay execptional benefitting from some serious attention to detail. 886 PBP does not disappoint on the road with a strong 4257cc engine holding very good oil pressureoffering impressive performance. The manual gearbox changes up and down smoothly with no signs of major wear, another clear indication this car has led a sheltered life. With its rebuilt suspension and braking system the Bentley is a true delight on the road and offers a very special driving experience. The MKVI was known for its refined, responsive drive and this example demonstrates why these cars were and are now still highly sought for their wonderful driving experience. This model was capable of 100mph and whilst we would not attempt anything near this, this very sharp, fit and healthy MKVI certainly feels like it wants to be driven and feels very comfortable underload with excellent power and acceleration delivery. The independent front suspension and leaf-sprung 'live' rear axle really contribute to making this such an incredibly superb car to drive and we are confident it will not disappoint. 886 PBP is a car to summer tour with, it would be ideal for long distance, for taking on theContinent with its impressive performance, high quality ride and with its working sunroof it will make summer rallies and tours even more pleasurable. The Bentley comes with thousands of pounds worth of invoices for the recent expenditure, RREC copy build sheets and continuation logbook copy, tool kit and retains its original chassis and engine confirming this is a matching numbers car. This truly unique Porsche is the result of a German Porsche enthusiast's desire to create the ultimate air cooled 911 variant providing extreme performance and capability in all conditions, further enhanced on its arrival in the UK by Harry Metcalfe, British Motoring journalist and creator of Evo Magazine. With no expense spared, a genuine last air cooled model 993 Turbo has been enhanced into a GT2 whilst retaining the Turbo's four wheel drive thus creating an incredible, totally unique super car with outstanding performance that could essentially be a rapid driving 4 wheel drive GT2 version, something Porsche never created. The project began in 2011 when a suitable top quality 993 Turbo was sourced in Guards Red. The car was delivered to highly respected Porsche experts S&N Automobilzentrum in Aachen who were commissioned to convert the car to GT2 specification using original factory parts. Invoices are with the car clearly showing a no expense spared program of work that essentially took the 993beyond GT2 spec. Not only were genuine Speedline wheels and a factory GT2 body kit fitted, something that could realistically only be undertaken by true Porsche experts, K24 hybrid turbo's with 100 Zeller Kats were fitted allowing for a power output of 520bhp, some 90bhp more than the standard GT2. When the car arrived in the UK, the Porsche was sold to Harry Metcalfe and subsequently delivered to Porsche specialists Autofarm. They inspected, serviced and further uprated the car with the fitment of lightweight GT2 Motorsport Glass, colour coded GT2 bucket seats, removal of sound proofing material and rear seats as GT2 specification, fitting of a bespoke standard GT carpet set and colour coded seat belts, GT2 gear mechanism along with a program of detailing work. The Porsche was then enjoyed and became very well known with various motoring enthusiasts with appearances at many events and track days and soon gained a strong social media presence. Having owned the car for several years, prior toparting with the car it was sent back to Autofarm for further fettling and a new gearbox in order to ensure its absolutely right and ready for the next owner to enjoy. Recently serviced and fitted with a brand new set of tyres, this outstanding, totally unique car offers the opportunity to own the ultimate air cooled 911 as chosen and so named by a highly respectable and experienced motoring writer and collector. This is a real one of a kind example, and a car that offers incredible performance. With just 5000 miles since its rebuild and upgrading, the Porsche is in exceptional mechanical condition with thousands and thousands of pounds worth of receipts present in the history file. The exceptional mechanical condition is equally matched by the impressive, pristine paintwork and bodywork, re-furbished genuine Speedline wheels and recently fitted GT2 interior. Repeating the process of creating such a special car would cost well in excess of our asking price and to further enhance the car it isoffered onto the market with the displayed, very valuable registration mark H550. This is an incredibly quick, powerful, fun car and the ultimate air cooled Porsche with the perfect combination of 993 Turbo 4WD and GT2 specification. Price: 189,995

This is an excellent, correct example that presents superbly as it would have when just a few years old. The Stag is finished in its original colour of White with Black upholstery, has its correct MKII alloy wheels and Black mohair hood. HGM 491N is a car previously sold by us and prior to first coming to us in 2016, had one owner from 1992. The car records a total mileage of 87250 and whilst we cannot warrant this, we have records dating back to 1989 when mileage was recorded at 60,000. This stunning, very smartly presented Stag appears correct, original in many respects, and we would suggest this to be a genuine low mileage example. HGM 491N was restored by specialists in 1991 to a very high standard. So many years on since the rebuild, the Stag retains an impressive, deep paint finish and has lovely clean panels. The paintwork has a fresh looking finish, clearly carried out to a high standard well over 20 years ago. In more recent years the car has been treated to a new steering rack, new waterpump, new timing chains and sprockets, new hood and re-conditioned frame, new Vredestein tyres, re-chromed bumpers, re-conditioned differential, new suspension bushes, shock absorbers, stainless steel exhaust with mild steel tailpipes, a new alternator and period radio cassette. The car has been regularly serviced, not used in the wet and waxoyled. Since then, with our workshop Malton Coachworks, the Triumph has been treated to all new flexi brake hoses, rear wheel cylinders, new front brake calipers, brake master cylinder, new oil pump assembly and oil transfer housing including all new gaskets and seals. In recent years the Stag has been covering very low annual mileage. The car has been stored in a dry garage and has been kept sharp, clean and detailed. This is a very strong car that has had excellent maintenance and has been superbly kept up too since restoration. The Stag drives superbly with an excellent, strong V8 engine that performs perfectly. The engine is nicely set up, has evencompressions and starts instantly, accelerates strongly and has a lovely sound complimented by the raspy exhaust note. The auto gearbox changes up and down smoothly, the power steering feels superb and handling and braking feel sharp and correct. This example drives exactly as a Stag should and will not disappoint. The car presents beautifully with its impressive paintwork, bodywork, clean underside, deep gleaming chrome and as new hood. The original seats have nicely aged, carpets, door cards and dash are excellent and the engine bay and boot are both very clean. This is an excellent value, strong, usable Stag that is exceptionally both drives and presents superbly. It has a highly original feel; it is totally correct and has clearly never been a neglected car. This is one of the nicest automatic Stag's we've had the pleasure of selling. Price: 24,995
