The Jensen Interceptor Mk. III was introduced in 1971 and was fitted with a 7.2 litre, V8 and included air conditioning as standard. In 1974, the convertible was manufactured with only 506 units produced. The Interceptor was not a shape that took readily to being converted to a soft top therefore the whole rear end of the car was restyled with more square-cut lines and a traditional boot lid. This restyling was a complete success giving the car a very balanced profile, especially with the roof down. Jensen had switched from glassfibre to steel for its car bodies. The Interceptor took its styling cues from the Brasinca Uirapuru, with a distinctive large, curving wraparound rear window that doubled as a tailgate. The original specification included electric windows, reclining front seats, a wood rimmed steering wheel, radio with twin speakers, reversing lights and an electric clock. Power steering was included as standard from September 1968 with the convertible version as one of Jensens mostsought-after models. Originally registered on 15th May 1974 and supplied by Guy Salmon Ltd., this Interceptor Convertible is a delightfully handsome example and is finished in metallic blue with cream leather interior and a blue hood. The cabin of a Jensen is an area of beauty with an array of dials and switches. The original service books are present together with letters from Jensen Motors Ltd and a Statement of Origin. The 7212cc, V8 engine sounds superb and we are advised she drives with no known faults. The vendor has owned the car since 2006 and she has always been garaged, the only reason for selling this Interceptor is due to lack of storage space. With only four former keepers, clearly this has been a much loved and well cared-for example throughout its 45 years on British roads. The exceptionally low mileage is indicative of how well this Jensen has been looked after.]]

1958 Austin Healey 100/6; Built on 10th January 1958, for the RHD home market this Austin Healey 100/6 left the factory exactly as you see it today, Colorado red over black with red interior. High spec from new, fitted with wire wheels and overdrive this Healey has been maintained to an excellent standard by long term owners. The car presents very well with a nice patinated interior which remains comfy and full of character whilst the exterior is in great order and stands up to close inspection. A full history file including receipts for work and documentation stretches back into the early 1960's. The history includes copies of the original buff log book, 21 older style and 14 new MOT's back until 1969, engine rebuild and bodywork as well as a photographic record of the work carried out. You can usually tell how good a car is by it's ownership record and the previous two owners can account for 37 years of this Austin Healey's life. The Healey drives well and everything works just as you wouldexpect. The engine feels as if it is uprated to 3000 but I cannot confirm this and the 100/6's 4-wheel drum brakes stops the car in ample time. If you're looking for an unmolested original UK RHD Healey with a great history which is both mechanically and cosmetically very good this 1958 British sports car must reach the shortlist and is ready to drive away today. Very sensibly priced for one in this exceptional condition at 54,950

The Ferrari F355 was introduced in May 1994, as a direct replacement for the Ferrari 348. Initially the F355 was only available with 6 speed manual transmission but in 1997 the Formula One style paddle gear shift developed by Ferrari and Magneti Marelli was launched. The emphasis behind the Pininfarina designed F355 was to improve performance, as well as drivability across a wider range of speeds and in different environments including lower city speeds. The F355 was built around a steel monocoque with tubular steel rear sub-frame. The 355 offered fully independent front and rear suspension with coil springs over gas-filled telescopic shock absorbers, electronic control servos and anti-roll bars. Aerodynamic design for the car included over 1,300 hours of wind tunnel analysis. The car incorporates a Nolder profile on the upper portion of the tail, and fairing on the underbody that generates negative lift when the car is at speed. Apart from the displacement increase from 3.4 to 3.5 litre, the major difference between the V8 engine in the F348 and F355 is the introduction of a 5-valve per cylinder head, hence the name F355 3.5l and 5 valves per cyliner. This new head design allowed for better air intake and resulted in a more powerful engine producing 370bhp at 8,250rpm, this resulted in a 0-60 mph of just 4.6 secs and onto a top speed of 183mph. As with all Ferraris only the best materials available at the time were used in their no expense spared production. The Ferrari F355 F1 Spider offered here at Autostorico was supplied new in April 1998 by Tamsen Ferrari Germany. Finished in Nero with Nero leather, this lovely example has covered a mere 21,209 miles and has been well maintained with the last service having been carried out by Autohaus Ferrari at 20,320 miles. This striking example offers such specification highlights as; Red brake calipers, Climate control, Original Ferrari tool kit, CD changer, Electric windows and Remote central locking. Viewing strictly by appointment only.
