Key facts: 83752 miles Clutch and Slave Cylinder replacement just over 3000 miles ago MOT February 2020 Includes Porsche factory hard top and Porsche fitted car cover This Porsche is a rear wheel drive Carrera 2 with six-speed manual transmission. This smart drop-top was supplied new in April 1999 and has covered only 83,652 miles in the hands of its lucky owners. Our elderly previous owner has enjoyed the car sparingly since 2012, but is now struggling to get in and out; as a result, its seen little use over the past few years. The car looks very smart indeed, finished in silver with contrasting blue mohair hood. It sits on a set of later 997 generation alloy wheels and has full leather interior with optional hardback shell sports seats, painted embossed brake calipers, clear indicator lenses, cruise control, digital climate control and on-board computer. Best of all is the optional and expensive factory hard top that comes with it, permitting snug all year usability. There is a good history filecomprising eight service stamps by main dealers and specialists RS Porsche of Cardiff, along with a further four stamped brake fluid changed and three airbag check stamps. During our vendors ownership the car has been treated to a new radiator and A/C condenser, new water pump, stainless exhaust and a new battery along with routine service work. An older invoice on file dated March 2009 shows a clutch and slave cylinder renewal at 80,799 miles just 3,000 miles ago. It has a current MOT running until February 2020

  • Auction: 29th Aug/1st Sept 2019 - RM Sotheby's - Auburn Fall Auction

To Be OFFERED AT AUCTION at RM Sothebys' Auburn Fall event, 29 August - 1 September 2019. Estimate:$80,000 - $120,000 Beautifully presented throughoutOne of only 458 Fiestas produced for 1953The rarest of GMs 1953 dream cars One defining event of 1950s American car culture was General Motors traveling Motorama. It was a truly extraordinary, no-expense-spared display of dazzling technology, stunning styling, and modern American ingenuity. The series of dramatic styling exercises by the legendary Harley Earl captivated the public, but most of the designs were never made for sale. For 1953, though, GM made an exception. The company offered three of the previous years dream cars in limited production numbers to the lucky few who could afford the staggering price tags and had the personal influence required to secure one from the General. The three models available were the Cadillac Series 62 Eldorado, the Buick Roadmaster Skylark, and the car offered here, the Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Fiesta.Though allthree were produced in very limited numbers, the scarcest of all was the Oldsmobile 98 Fiesta, which cost an astonishing $5,715. It was, and remains to this day, a stunning design that pioneered several features at Oldsmobile, including the cut-down, wraparound windshield, spinner wheel covers soon to be popular in the Kustoms crowd, and attractive two-tone paint schemes in exclusive colors. Each Fiesta came well equipped with leather upholstery, power steering, power brakes, power windows, and a power seat. It was the rarest of the 1953 GM Trifecta of dream cars, with a total production run of just 458 examples. Today, surviving examples rarely become available for sale. The 1953 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Fiesta offered here is finished in Alpine White over Turquoise two-tone with a white convertible top. The car rides on wide whitewall tires mounted on steel wheels featuring factory wheel covers. The exterior is accented by a two-tone turquoise-and-white interior featuring a clock and a Super DeLuxe radio. Furthermore, the car is equipped with power antenna, seat, windows, and steering. This Fiesta was a participant in the Glenmoor Gathering on two occasions, cementing its status as one of the finer examples of this incredibly rare luxury convertible.Presented in particularly beautiful colors, this Fiesta is a wonderful example of the car that, in their 1953 advertising, AC Spark Plug referred to as a sportster, establishing it as the most stylish car produced in Lansing during the Rocket Age.To view this car and others currently consigned to this auction, please visit the RM website at rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/af19.

To Be OFFERED AT AUCTION WITHOUT RESERVE at RM Sothebys' The Sáragga Collection event, 20 - 21 September 2019. One of only 300 Turbo S Cabriolets builtU.S. delivery example, delivered new to FloridaExceptionally well optioned The fastest and most expensive cabriolet offered for the Porsches 996 generation of 911, the Turbo S Cabriolet was a vehicle with no compromises, offering the very best in terms of performance, luxury, and exclusivity. Whilst about 980 Turbo Ss were produced at the end of the 996s life cycle, only 300 were cabriolets. This U.S. specification example was delivered new to Florida and boasts a variety of seldom-seen options, including the Tiptronic transmission, satellite navigation, and carbon-fibre trim on the steering wheel, dashboard, centre console, and sport seats. Passing through subsequent owners in California, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania, according to the accompanying Carfax report, the car was imported to Europe almost four years ago, and the odometer reading of under74,800 km (46,478 miles) is genuine.Without a doubt the most exciting cabriolet of the 996 generation, this would be a thrilling car for both a 911 aficionado or first-time Porsche owner. One of the smallest and most stylish cabriolets ever builtLovely red-over-black colour scheme Based on the humble Fiat 500, Autobianchis Bianchina Cabriolet was a charming and elegant cabriolet, destined for a demanding audience. • Auction: 20th/21st Sept 2019 - RM Sotheby's - The Saragga Collection

To Be OFFERED AT AUCTION WITHOUT RESERVE at RM Sothebys' The Sáragga Collection event, 20 - 21 September 2019. The sixth of 150 fifth-series examplesDocumented history from 1961Restored in stylish period colours The revolutionary Lancia Aurelia featured monocoque construction, four-wheel independent suspension, and the first production V-6 engine, driving through a rear transaxle with inboard brakes. Lancia commissioned Pinin Farina to build an open sports variant of the Aurelia on a shortened platform. The resulting B24 Spider debuted in 1955. Available in either right-hand B24 or left-hand (Sinistra) B24S, the rakish two-seater sported a floor-mounted gearshift and a wrap-around windscreen with side curtains for weather protection.Reflecting a shift in expectations, especially in the important US market, in 1956 Pinin Farina introduced a revised version, now called the Aurelia Convertible. Offered only in left-hand drive, the updated car featured a more practical conventional windscreen withquarter windows. Its interior was lengthened, and enlarged doors were fitted with wind-down windows. The present example, Aurelia Convertible B24S-1187, is the sixth produced of the updated series. Initially registered in Bologna, Italy, its history is known since its re-registration there in 1961. In 1968, chassis number 1187 changed hands and was registered in Ferrara, where it remained with one owner until 1984 and the most recent previous custodian from the early 1990s. In that ownership the car was subjected to a comprehensive restoration. It presents beautifully in light blue set off by a black hood and beige leather interior. Purchased by Mr. Sáragga in 2018, it is accompanied by its Italian registration documents and an ASI certificate. An icon of Italian motoring since its inception, the Aurelia B24S famously featured in the classic 1962 film Il Sorpasso, ensuring its place in cinematic as well as automotive history. With the driving dynamics of a car a decade newer, this B24S Convertibleis ready to reward its next owner on both the road and the display field. To view this car and others currently consigned to this auction, please visit the RM website at rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/pg19.
