Chassis number: B129EJ Registration number: BUE922 Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1935 Derby Bentley 3 1/2 Liter Rippon Pillarless Coupe for sale. A one off pillarless coupé designed by Rippon Bros of Huddersfield. The coachwork on this Bentley is the last word in elegance. The Derby Bentley belonged for many years to the late, and much missed Derby Bentley afficionado, Julian Paul of Ughill above Sheffield. Julian was known for his fastidious yet sympathetic restoration of his cars and indeed won numerous prizes for the cars he showed. This Derby Bentley is no exception having run under Julians tenure for a good number of years. The Derby Bentley comes to us in impeccable mechanical condition. The engine personifies the moniker "The silent sports car". It starts instantly and pulls one down the road at speed in a quiet and unruffled manner. The Derby Bentley is finished in excellent black and dark blue paint that accentuates the elegance of the design beautifully. To the interior is the original feeling Bedford cord to the front and rear with the front seats having fitted covers, the better to preserve them. The dash-board wood on the Derby Bentley has been removed and re-finished. A large sunroof slides easily open. An Art Deco style spot lamp adorns the font valence augmented either side by a pair of trumpet horns. Under the bonnet the engine bay is pleasantly tidy and workman like with the black parts having been painted in deep gloss. Attention has also been given to re-plating the chrome work where required. Rarely do we get a Derby of this elegance, rarity and beauty.

Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1964 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Standard Steel Saloon For Sale. Registration: DPT 333B Chassis no: SGT115 Engine no: ST57G Launched in 1962, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III and its Bentley S3 equivalent employed the 6.2-litre V8 engine introduced on the 'Cloud II/S2 - though with larger carburettors, new distributor and raised compression ratio - and came with a four-speed GM-derived automatic transmission as standard equipment. Most obvious among many changes from the preceding models was the adoption of four-headlamp lighting, the absence of sidelights from the wing tops, and a slightly lower radiator shell. Inside there was improved accommodation with separate front seats and increased room for rear passengers. Notable as the last mainstream Rolls-Royce to employ a separate chassis, the Silver Cloud III proved immensely successful both at home and abroad, remaining in production until the autumn of 1965. DPT 333B is offered is arguably the most striking colour combination of Astral Blue over Shell grey. The paintwork is in excellent condition and it is clear from first sight that this is a well maintained example. The engine is smooth and strong; the powerful 6.75 V8 will happily cruise at speeds in excess of our national speed limit. SGT115 has been used sparingly and just over 10,000 miles have been covered over the last 2 decades. An excellent example, in ready to go condition, in our showroom and ready for viewing. Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1952 Bentley R-Type DHC by Graber for sale. This unique Bentley was first bought by Professor Rudolf Geigy, biologist, zoologist, geneticist amnd CEO of the Swiss Pharmaceutical company, CIBA-GEIGY. He ordered an R-Type chassis from Rolls-Royce and Bentley at Derby, and had it delivered to Swiss coachbuilders Graber in Wichtracg, where he asked Hermann Graber to design and build a drophead coupé for himself as a 50thbirthday present. Graber founded in the 1920s, had a fine reputation of building bodies for British cars, including Alvis, Lagonda, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce and Rover, and was famed for its beautiful, perfectly balanced and rather restrained lines. On chassis B89RS Hermann Graber styled a typically graceful and individual car, with a straight-through wing line, rear quarter lights, and the large soft-top very well harmonised with the boot lines. Underneath, the Bentley R Type chassis and drivetrain was very like that of the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn: power came from the well proven straight-six with inlet-over-exhaust valves, but with twin SU carburettors rather than the single one fitted to the Silver Dawn, it produced and estimated 130bhp, enough for lively performance up to around 100mph. The front suspension was independent with wishbones and coil springs, and there was a live axle with leaf springs at the rear. The drum brakes were servo-assisted. The main difference with the preceding model was the longer chassis which allowed more luggage space and gave scope for come beautiful bodywork to be added. Standard steel factory bodies were available, but many chassis were sent to coachbuilders. Professor Geigy kept the car for a decade before it went to an owner in Germany, and it later travelled to Hong Kong. In recent years the car was sent back to Austria, to Zweimüller near Linz, for a complete, nut and bolt restoration, and since then the car has only sparingly been used on dry days. Today the car is in absolute concours condition, which was proven by its recent entry into the 2018 Concours of Elegance 2018 at Hampton court Palace. Vintage and Prestige are proud to offer this 1910 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Rois-Des-Belges style tourer by Cadogan For Sale. Registration no: M-766 Chassis no: 1192 Launched at Olympia in 1906, Henry Royces masterpiece, the new six-cylinder, 40/50hp Rolls-Royce, was in a class of its own and Royces engineering genius combined with the selling charms of the Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls and the business flair of Claude Johnson ensured that the world soon recognised the new model as "The Best Car in the World". The history of the 40/50hp car, soon to be colloquially referred to as The Silver Ghost, is well chronicled, production continuing in the U.K. until 1925 and, remarkably, no fewer than 6,173 chassis were built in the U.K. with a further 1,703 erected at the Springfield Factory in the U.S.A. Chassis number 1192 is one of an exceptionally small number of pre-1910, parallel-bonnet Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost cars surviving, the official test date being 09:12:09. 1192 was ordered in September 1909 by Mr Munn who was the engineering superintendent of the Union Castle Line. He was a great motoring enthusiast and won the RAC National Challenge to find the car that would travel at the slowest speed without touching any of the controls and without stopping. 1192 was also the winner of the Stockbridge Hill Climb in 1914. After Mr Munn died in the post-Great War flu epidemic the car was sold to Mr Scott-Paine who was the Solent Speedboat champion for several years. 1192 travelled to India in the 1920s and returned to the UK in the early 60s, purchased by Alan Hancock. Mr Hancock spent many years having 1192 completely restored and fitted with the current Rois Des Belges Coachwork, which is believed to be only the second body, fitted to the chassis. After the restoration was completed 1192 was shown and used for various rallies including an Alpine Trial. In recent years she has been laid up with seldom use. Upon arrival, with the correct priming procedure, she instantly came to life and drove some 30 miles without any issues; in fact the engine became smoother mile by mile. Subsequently we delivered her to Lee Kenworthy of Kenworthy and Co for a service and tune. The coachwork is magnificent and truly elegant, a Rois-Des-Belges style tourer with a high flared rear. To the rear there is also a pair of occasional seats with 2 different location points, allowing for all sorts of seating configurations and up to 5 passengers in the rear. The Bulkhead holds an array of period brass instruments including, Elliot speedometer and rev counter, oil pressure gauge, amp meter, Motor Aneroid and 8 day clock. There are wooden running boards joining both wings and housing storage boxes. There is also storage space to the rear in the trunk, and beneath the drivers seat. The paintwork is finished is true Edwardian style; Green and Black horizontal stripes to the body, a red coach line highlighting all of the body, wing and wheel lines. The bonnet also has an elegant 8-piece rectangular pattern, which is finished in red with a blue outline, all of these features combined with the brass fittings result in a truly remarkable look. 1927 Rolls Royce Phantom 1 Sedanca by Thrupp & Maberly. Chassis number: 16LF Registration number:YH2900 Delivered new to one K.S. Smith Exq of Millbank Westminster in June of 1927. This car was sent to famed coach-builders Thrupp & Maberly to have its current body erected upon the chassis taking the form of an elegant & imposing sedanca deville. The car comes to us in beautiful & very original condition. Indeed it has one awards at the RREC in the preservation class. It has also been shown at schloss Dyck & a variety of other events. Paintwork is Maroon over black. The bonnet areas are getting quite thin from years of polishing to the point where the undelying aluminium is close to showing through, giving the car a wonderfully aged patina. In recent years the car has only ever been washed in warm water & given a coating of hard wax to better preserve the paints originality. The front seats are of black leather with black door cards. To the interior is west of England cloth in beige along with original carpets. The car as a whole has a very untouched feel to it. It has resided for the last 8 or so years when we previously sold it in a small private collection. Twin occasional seats fold out from the bulkhead making this a true 7 seater. All original nickel plated insturmennts are present & correct on the black dash board. The 3 gallon fuel reserve with its associated tap is extant & working perfectly. The car comes with working keys for the dooors bonnet & ignition. The car has been well maintained without regard to cost. Attention has been given to ensure all the details work correctly such as interior lights, the spot light & the fuel Guage. We are giving the car a service upon arrival with fresh fluids whilst also checking the valve clearances & doing the timing. The Magneto is a little weak so we wiill also be overhauling it as part of its service. Mechanically the car is strong with a quiet engine that regularly starts off the advance / retard lever once warm. 5 years ago the engine was disassmbled & checked over with all the cooling galleries being cleaned out from accumulated silt as the car was starting to run hot on warmer days. It is now back to running cool as per factory spec. The car comes to us with its original Ace wheel discs, under trays, hand operated spot lamp etc etc. It really is a time warp car & one for aficionados of originality. Chassis number 151XJ Registration number GC2351 Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1930 Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer for sale.A very imposing and impressive Phantom II which comes with copy bills close to £90,000. Most recently a vast amount was spent on the Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer preparing it for the Peking Paris Rally which it handled with aplomb. A further £20K was spent upon its return. The 1930 Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer is finished in a bright red with black wings with the paint being in really superb condition, not long ago having been done. The front wings are light and sporting descending to the running board in an elegant uninterrupted curve. Rear wings are also light weight. The 1930 Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer is a full four seater and has the option of either a front bench seat or a pair or more comfortable chair style seats giving good lateral support. The bench seat is currently fitted. The hood is easily erected and mounts via a latch with two thumb screws to the angled V windscreen. The spare tyre is rear mounted. There is provision for separate tonneau covers to the front and rear cockpits. A beautifully fabricated spare fuel tank mounting in the boat tail section of the car comes with it; particularly useful for those contemplating long overland trips. There is also a full set of de-mountable under guards to protect the vital areas from flying rocks etc. encountered in the 'stans. Whilst being set up for long distance overland work, the 1930 Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer also performs wonderfully as a family tourer for less adventurous outings. The 1930 Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer has a real presence on the road and a huge wow factor is often awarded from passers by. The Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer car is in mechanically superb order as evidenced by the plethora of paperwork. We simply gave up trying to photograph all the bills as they were so numerous and instead settled for photographing piles of bills sorted by the vendor. Suffice to say, the 1930 Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer is fully rebuilt including a photographic record of the engine rebuild. Two original manuals also come with the Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer. On the road, the Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer drives perfectly. The Rolls Royce engine is utterly silent, even from cold and starts readily off the retard lever when warm indicating excellent compressions to the bores. The steering is tight with no slop or play in it and the powerful engine wafts one down the road effortlessly. All in all, a really lovely 1930 Phantom II Boat Tail Tourer with a rakish sporting post war body needing absolutely nothing. A gallery of large high-resolution pictures may be viewed on our website.
