Restoration Project... 1996 Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i Registration Number: N966 XOE Chassis Number: SAXXNNAYCBD107848 Transmission: Manual Steering: Right Hand Drive Mileage: 93827 Price: £3350 The original highly-influential design for the Mini by Sir Alec Issigonis was perfection in the eyes of most and stylistically, the motor car required little alteration from the first model in 1959 to the last in 2000. Over 1.5 million examples were sold in the UK and the innovative economy classic has certainly retained its popularity with sporting motorists of all ages, who favour the sought-after traditionally styled Minis over their more modern counterparts. This Cooper 1.3i does not appear to be a major restoration project so should appeal to young and more mature enthusiasts alike. Finished in the iconic works style colours of red with a white roof, John Cooper bonnet stripes and a black interior with red piping, the specification includes the original alloy road wheels, tinted glass and a must-have racing style petrol filler cap. The Mini comes from a deceased estate and unfortunately paperwork relating to the vehicles history has been mislaid, but this sporting car clearly has great potential. The V5C registration certificate is supplied. Please visit our website for full information...

1953 MG TD Midget Registration Number: 540 UXU Chassis Number: TD23149 Engine Number: XPAG/TD/78092 Transmission: Manual Steering: Right Hand Drive MOT Test Expiry: Exempt Price: £20750 Post-war MG sports cars have become a regular feature of DVCA sales, so much so that the vendor of this motor car, well known in the world of historic vehicles, was drawn to this auction thanks to DVCA achieving the highest UK auction price during 2019 for the similar, but later, TF. Dating from 1953, this TD Midget was subject to an older restoration during a 40 year period of ownership extending from 1976 to 2006. The work involved a new ash frame, a body restoration and repaint, and the fitment of an XPAG 1,250 cc Gold Seal engine. This is a motor car to take to the open road, one to be enjoyed as it was in its postwar heyday when it lifted the spirits of largely young men who had survived the conflict and sought new adventures. They were not about out-and-out speed, even though they were quick in their day, but more about flinging along country routes, the exhaust note bouncing off the roadside banks. In this respect, nothing has changed apart from the system now being stainless steel. While fitted with a canvas hood described as in fair condition, the next owner will more likely take advantage of the very good tonneau cover, leaving the canvas stowed and the black leather seats exposed to the elements while on the move. As was original, the motor car is fitted with steel wheels, although now shod with modern radials to improve driveability. It has been in the vendors ownership for the past 11 years and is accompanied by copious paperwork including a ring file of invoices from 1977 to 2015, several pages of handwritten notes, and a letter from the owner of 40 years detailing work done. Boxes of parts are also provided, along with MG marque books and magazines, MoT test certificates from 1967 to April 2018 (the last issued, with no advisories), and a current V5C certificate. 1995 Mercedes-Benz E280 Auto Estate Registration Number: M998 DLP Chassis Number: WDB1240882F324472 Engine Number: 10494222059876 Transmission: Automatic Steering: Right Hand Drive Colour: Tourmaline Green Pearl Metallic MOT Test Expiry: 4 February 2021 Mileage: 124900 Price: £2900 Your children / grandchildren will reckon you are better than any telly timelord when you show how your newly-acquired classic Mercedes bends time. For while those in the first two rows of seats in this Mercedes-Benz E280 estate travel forwards in time, the two occupying the third row travel backwards in the same dimension, thanks to the rear-facing double seat accessed via the tailgate. Rather than arriving in a hissing and flashing old Police call box, you will be noticed thanks to the Tourmaline Green pearl metallic paint of this practical motor car, delivered in smooth and relatively silent style thanks to the long-cherished combination of an inline six cylinder engine coupled to an automatic transmission with sport mode that drives the rear wheels in this time-honoured mechanical layout. Owners who have savoured the delights of seven seat estates from Volvo, Mercedes, Toyota (Crown), and Datsun (280C) will remember the squeals of delight from children in seats six and seven as they pulled faces at the driver of the vehicle behind. But its a new experience for the current younger generation who have grown up in a motoring world of MPVs and SUVs. This Mercedes-Benz has yet to pass the 125,000 mile mark so would be regarded by many as just about run in. The motor car has a newly-acquired MoT expiring in February, 2021, acquired without comment from the tester! It is also accompanied by a V5C certificate and comprehensive history file with handbooks. It has seen little use during the last decade and a half but arrives for the sale after a recent service so is ready for a summer of use. With its capacious body (superficially damaged on the nearside rear quarter panel), inviting yet sensible cloth interior with sufficient wood trim to appeal to traditional British luxury car buyers, and readiness to be put to work or preserved in aspic with little extra effort it has wide appeal among the wide field of potential owners who regard these big Mercedes-Benz estates as the epitome of the brands quality. 1926 Vauxhall 14/40 Princeton Tourer Registration Number: PF 4822 Chassis Number: LM3631 Engine Number: LM3631 Transmission: Manual Steering: Right Hand Drive MOT Test Expiry: Exempt Road Tax Exempt Price: £42600 Designed by Clarence King, the first Vauxhall Princeton appeared in 1922 and had a four cylinder side valve engine driving through a three speed manual gearbox. The separate chassis had semi-elliptic springs at the front and cantilever springs at the rear. Brakes were initially on the rear wheels only, with a separate pair of shoes for the handbrake. Some 60mph was claimed for the top speed and 28mpg. Various body styles could be purchased, one of which was the four seat Princeton tourer. In 1924 the LM version appeared with higher compression engine and four speed transmission. Front brakes were added in 1926. Supplied new to a Mr C. W. G. Ince on the 26th of April 1926 by Crow Bros., motor engineers and dealers of 180 High Street, Guildford, PF 4822 (its original registration number) is one of the later LM series cars and is smartly presented in green with contrasting green leather upholstery. The vendor describes both the coachwork and trim as all good, with paintwork also good, apart from odd marks of age. A leather trunk and rear Auster-type screen are nice additional features. The controls are all present with central throttle, and right hand gear change. A Crow Bros. plaque adorns the dashboard and all instruments are present and working but a non-standard fuel gauge is faulty. The black mohair hood is good and there is a tonneau and sidescreens, all mohair and good. The wire wheels are said to be well shod. Mechanically the vendor affirms that all is in good order. It is surprising what good progress can be made in this delightful Princeton Tourer. There is a wonderful sense of achievement in owning and running a vintage motor car of this type and plenty of support is on hand from the Owners Club and the Vintage Sports Car Club. The motor car comes with a photocopy of the Crow Bros. stock book, dated 1st October 1926 to 1927, which includes this Princeton in the list, together with facsimile photographs of the Guildford showroom and premises, Vauxhall Owner Club information, invoices, technical data, drawings, ownership history from new, old MOT test certificates, the original RF60 registration book (and another), the VE60, the current V5C registration certificate, correspondence, a photocopy owners manual, road test reports, wiring diagrams and others. 1947 Sunbeam-Talbot Ten Saloon Registration Number: KAE 823 Chassis Number: 2316010 Engine Number: P78271 Transmission: Manual Steering: Right Hand Drive MOT Test Expiry: Exempt Road Tax Exempt Price: £5750 The Motor Sport Road Test no. 3 of April 1947 declared the Sunbeam-Talbot Ten to be so reasonably silent, so smooth-running, so light to control, and so generally refined in its manner of motoring and concluded that it was highly commendable small car, providing very refined economy motoring with no mean performance, and presenting a modern, but smartly restrained, exterior to the world at large. High praise indeed and certainly justified as the little Ten was a well-thought out pre-war model by the Rootes Group that had subtly evolved from the 1935 Talbot Ten. This 1947 Sunbeam-Talbot Ten was supplied new by Cathedral Garage of Bristol, and its first owner was H. C. Bailey, also of Bristol. The motor car remains in very original condition; its very nicely appointed interior has recently had the front seats retrimmed, most of the brightwork has been rechromed and at some point in the past, the motor car has been resprayed, but overall the Sunbeam still had an air of genuine originality. We understand KAE 823 to be reliable and with no known mechanical faults. The 1185cc engine motors along happily with the assistance of a four speed gearbox. Having finally decided to hang up their driving gloves, the Sunbeam's custodian has reluctantly chosen to part ways with the pretty motor car. The history file includes two factory parts catalogues, a Shell lubrication guide, an original sales brochure, a Sunbeam Talbot Alpine Register factory record certificate, sundry invoices, a VE60 registration book, the V5C registration certificate and the carriage key. 2006 Land Rover Defender 110 County TD5 Double Cab Pick-Up Registration Number: DV04 LOT Chassis Number: SALLDHF576A726584 Engine Number: 15P36796B Transmission: Manual Steering: Right Hand Drive Colour: Stornaway Grey MOT Test Expiry: 12 September 2020 Mileage: 130650 Price: £15250 This TD5 has clearly been well looked after and maintained throughout its life. The previous Land Rover enthusiast custodian carried out a restoration of the vehicle during his ownership: the floor panels were removed at that time, the chassis and underside were cleaned, checked and repaired as required (including the rear cross member and bulkhead panels). The chassis and underside were then treated with rust protective coatings and finished in Satin Black paint and black wax protection coats. Where possible, the reassembly was carried out using stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. All floor panel joints are sealed. The engine has been tuned with Alive Stage One Tuning. The high specification includes: a Superwinch TS9500 unit fitted to a special front bumper assembly with a front underguard, a Mantec snorkel and snow cowl, rock slider side bars, checker plate wing top panels and lower quarter panels, roof rack bars, a Pioneer radio/CD player, a partial heated windscreen, electric windows withtinted glass, off-set mud flaps, factory alloy road wheels fitted with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A LT 235/85R16 120/116S M&S tyres, off-set tracking (which improves its turning circle), a cubby box, LED flasher lamps, side lamps, reverse and rear fog lamp, a good tilt and rear cover, and a factory tow bar assembly with electrics. With just three former keepers, this exciting Land Rover is supplied with a large history file and the V5C registration certificate. Please visit our website for full information...

Distinctive Registration Number Included... 1984 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo Registration Number: A6 SKR Chassis Number: SCBZS0T07ECH10098 Engine Number: 10098 Transmission: Automatic Steering: Right Hand Drive MOT Test Expiry: 19 September 2020 Mileage: 97530 Price: £3500 Named after the fastest straight at Le Mans, Bentleys original generation of Mulsanne motor cars teamed luxurious comfort and excellent performance from a Rolls-Royce 6.75 litre V8. The Garrett AiResearch turbocharger increased the power by a further 50% in the Mulsanne Turbo which arrived in 1983. We are assured that this 1984 Turbo example is in good running order and drives very well. The vendor states that it has no known mechanical faults but cosmetically, it could be in both the paintwork and interior departments. However, the motor car certainly has advantages: four new Avon have recently been fitted, the current MOT test certificate expires in September 2020 and the private registration number is included in the sale. The hub caps are currently stowed away in the boot but will require a replacement key to be refitted. The Bentley has come to the market out of necessity due to its owner's poor health. The Mulsanne is supplied with the V5C registration certificate, the original handbook and wallet, the aforementioned MOT test certificate and sundry paperwork. An inexpensive entry into Bentley motoring. Please visit our website for full information....
