Terry Hutton's Holden VY Commodore SS

I ordered this SS when I worked at Holden as a maintenance fitter and offlined it myself. I had a few extra bits and pieces done to it; the leather Monaro console and handbrake for instance, and it runs cloned Maloo software rather than the regular SS program.

It has 150,000k’s on it as it was the family daily; we even had a baby seat trimmed in leather by the company that did the factory seats; the ‘SS’ stitching is indistinguishable from the original! I retired it nine years ago at 140,000, so it’s not done too much work since then.

For me, the VY Series I SS is the ultimate and it’s the only one that got the satin badging, which just sets it off.
