I’ve never owned a car that’s not a Nissan; I started with an N12 Pulsar ET Turbo that I worked up into a 13-second car!

When I met Fred and Christine Gibson at a show, everyone was asking about their experiences in the Skylines and all I asked about was their Group C Exas! That being said, I also have an R31 Skyline track car; it makes 402kw at the wheels from an RB30 turbo; owning a dyno shop makes it very handy to tune these things!

I bought the President off Gumtree in 2011 from some Russian guy; it was his mum’s car. I’ve got no clues how it got to Australia; it wasn’t a consulate car as they were all black or silver. When I got it, there were loads of electrical gremlins; it’s handy I’ve also been a computer systems engineer!

For example, it has eight power window switches; even the front and rear quarters are electric. It’s got tape decks front and rear; if they are both playing, you hear both tapes at the same time!

The rear also has an in-built Dictaphone. It’s just a lazy cruiser and it’s a bit tired, but I love the craziness.
