Most of my cars have been European. I first sat in this car when I was about 12. I always thought I’d own one and when the owner said he was going to sell it, I jumped on it.

It had been modified to RS2 spec when I got it. The RS2 was an S2 Audi that Porsche got hold of and turned into the fastest station wagon of the day. It had around 235kW at the wheels at the time and the previous owner had installed a MoTeC ECU that I replaced with the original Bosch unit. I’ve changed the turbo to a bigger Garrett which came in a kit from a performance mob in California. It’s supposed to offer the most performance using a stock bottom end
of the engine. They claim it produces 460hp. Boost is set at 21 pounds.

It has adjustable KW coil-overs all round to improve stance and feel and the front brakes are upgraded with Brembo calipers used on the Porsche Boxster, and bigger Audi A8 rotors. There are not many of these around now and I’ll be hanging on to it; it’s keeper and a sleeper.
