You had us at VL
I’ve had my VL Group Three since about 2001, and before that a mate of mine owned it, and I remember seeing it for the first time and just thinking ‘I’ve got to have that car’.
It took me 12 years to convince him to sell it to me, but I finally got it, and it’s just awesome.
Over the years I’ve restored it and tried to get it back to as close to factory fresh as I can, but it’s a Brock, so it’s always worth the effort.

It doesn’t need much, just a couple of things under the engine bay, but I want it to be the way Brocky had it when it left the factory.
People also forget that these cars were built after the Brock Director bust-up with Holden, so there was only 38 VL SS Group 3s ever built.
I’ve got other cars; a replica L34 Torana and a Sandman, but this car’s really special, and I love driving it.
