1967 CHEVROLET CORVETTE L88 COUPE
This stunning Corvette underwent a meticulous 10-year restoration. It retains its original engine and is one of 20 produced. Corvette Master Judge, Mark Donnally, personally inspected and confirmed the authenticity and originality of this car. The only Duntov and Triple Diamond-awarded Corvette L88 is the only one in Sunfire Yellow in 1967. It has the highest Bloomington Gold Certification and has won numerous other awards. It sold with the original trim tag, tank sticker, sales contract and title, and owner’s manual.

1970 FORD FALCON XY GT
Offered with no reserve was this one-owner XY GT Falcon last driven in 1973 and showing just 24,561 miles on the clock. Bought new in Sydney it was driven to Melbourne by its now 88-year-old owner, and registered KTH 281. After three years it was put in a shed, until recently auctioned. Under the Shaker is the original, matching-numbers C351ci 4V V8 ‘D’ Block engine, paired with an FMX auto. It still has its original windscreen, exhaust system, and front tyres. It went with a swag of parts and owner’s books too.

1984 AUDI SPORT QUATTRO
Frank Beddor was the founder of the Audi Club of North America and this is from his collection. It is one of 164 road variants produced. Originally red, Beddor had it resprayed Alpine White and his son Steve used it in competition for many years after it had been modified from new by some of the most significant staff in Audi motor-sport history. After competition retirement, it has been driven sparingly but regularly maintained.

1989 LANCIA DELTA HF INTEGRALE
This 1989 Lancia Delta HF Integrale is a Japanese-market 8V model that has had an engine switch to a full-spec 16-valve 2.0lt inline-four. The brakes, suspension and five-speed gearbox and all-wheel drive system have also been fettled, and it rolls on 16-inch Speedline wheels. Inside, its ready for action with a roll cage, Sparco seats and harnesses. It has been with the vendor since 2023 after arriving stateside the previous year and shows 79,000 klicks on the clock.

1925 AND 1933 AUSTIN SEVENS
Here we have a matching pair of Austin Sevens that are being offered from long-term ownership by a long-time Austins Seven club member and enthusiast. Both have been painstakingly restored some years ago and used sparingly ever since. The older of the two is a 1925 AC ‘Chummy’, while the younger RP Deluxe Saloon dates from 1933. Both of these ‘cute as a button’ Austins from a bygone era are available for viewing at Donington’s Amaroo Park facility in Annangrove, NSW.

1966 LOLA T90 FORD INDY CAR
Three-time world F1 champion Sir Jackie Stewart raced this car to sixth in the 1966 Indianapolis 500 picking up the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award and then went on to take pole position and win the 1966 Fuji 200 in Japan. Stewart led the 500 with 10 laps to go before an oil pump failed but was credited with sixth place. Stewart raced for the John Mecom Team. The Lola T90 with chassis number SL90/2 is one of only three built, with its sister car winning the 500 with Graham Hill.

1983 PORSCHE 930 TURBO
One of the German marque’s landmark cars is the 930 Turbo that is linked directly to Porsche’s motor-sport program. This matching-numbers car has travelled 71,000 miles. Power comes from the 3.3lt air-cooled flat-six delivering over 300 horsepower, hooked up to a 4-speed ZF transaxle. Finished in Guards Red with black interior it sold with a comprehensive dossier of invoices, detailed service records and the Porsche Service Manual.

2006 BMW Z4 ALPINA ROADSTER S
Derived from the Z4 this Alpina version is exceptionally rare, desirable and offered with no reserve. It’s build number is 297 of just 370. Finished in Titanium Silver with black mohair soft-top, plus a black leather interior with stitching in the Alpina colours of blue and green. It carries the full gamut of Alpine features including its 3.4lt 300hp engine combined with a ZF six-speed manual gearbox.

1973 DATSUN 240Z
It’s not often an Australian-delivered, matching-numbers Datto 240Z comes on the open market, so it was no surprise bidding was fierce. Desirable globally, this one has recently undergone a concours restoration, retaining its original red paint and black interior. Under the long bonnet lies a 2.4lt straight-six, tied to a five-speed manual. The car is showing 52,398 miles on the odometer. During the resto the driveline was also rebuilt and suspension and brakes freshened.

1961 MERCEDES-BENZ 220 SEB COUPE
This is a lovely example of Mercedes-Benz’ classic 220 SEB Coupe, dating from 1961, finished in the beautiful colour combination of Pewter Grey with contrasting dark red leather. Equipped with the desirable combination of a sunroof, automatic transmission, and air-conditioning, this stylish pillarless coupe is an older restoration that has been well-maintained ever since. This beaut Benz is available for viewing at Donington Auctions’ Amaroo Park facility.

1970 PLYMOUTH HEMI SUPERBIRD
Here we have one of the greatest muscle cars of all time, and this Limelight green with a black vinyl roof and black interior is one of a mere 58 Hemi 4-speed Superbird’s produced that year. It has a 426ci V8 putting out 425 neddies and was the cover car of the November 2014 issue of Muscle Car Review. Inside are bucket seats, a fold-down buddy seat, AM radio and 8-track player. It went with its broadcast sheet, window sticker and copies of historic titles.

1974 MERCEDES-BENZ 350 SLC
This 350 SLC is an Australian-delivered, four-seater, four-owner coupe that has enjoyed continuous maintenance since new. Finished in an appealing colour combo of gold paint and cream leather trim, it has a 3.5lt V8 and auto transmission to drive the rear wheels. The odometer shows 355,242km, some might say it’s just run in, as these Benzes were bulletproof. The R107-generation is one of the most revered of the brand’s sports-car lineage.

2009 PORSCHE PANAMERA 4S
When these were new they were astronomically expensive, but 14 years on they’re as cheap as chips. Admittedly this is a first generation Panamera from its first year of production. But it is a 4S so it’s a four-wheel drive with a 4.8lt Porsche derived V8 engine and a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch auto. With 103,527 miles on the clock, it’s claimed to be in excellent overall condition, aside from a few minor blemishes, and sold with plenty of supporting paperwork and a £3,000-plus gearbox overhaul and service from late last year.

2002 MAZDA RX-7 SERIES 8 SPIRIT R TYPE C
Mazda’s 8 Spirit R Type C is a rare beast and a highly sought modern performance classic. It is the last RX-7 variant. Just 1504 were made for the Japanese domestic market, with 40 built to Type C spec and just 20 were made in the Spirit R shade of Titanium Grey Metallic. This one has covered 60,165 klicks and appears to be in stock form, with 206kW to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic.

1960 CADILLAC ELDORADO BIARRITZ
The 1959 and 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz really lived up to the Cadillac slogan of “The standard of the world”, this particular example received a no-expense spared, frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration and was refinished in its original and desirable factory colour combination of Ebony black with black leather interior. Being a Biarritz model it was fitted with triple Rochester 2-barrel carburettors and optioned with factory air-conditioning. The final hammer price indicated that this was no ordinary 1960 Cadillac.

1988 PEUGEOT 205 GTI 1.9
The Peugeot 205 GTI is one of the great hot hatches of our time and this original 1988 model comes with the more powerful engine. It’s also a pre-power-steering car which the experts say is the one to have. It has its original part-leather seat trim, along with the vivid red carpets that mark 205 GTI models. The odometer reads just 67,000 miles and as the vendor had planned to keep it, it had a large number of jobs done to get it mechanically perfect, while keeping everything original.

2003 MERCEDES-BENZ SL500
This R230 SL500 is finished in metallic silver with charcoal grey trim, and behind the big star in the grille sits a 5.0lt 285kW V8. It rolls on widened AMG-style alloys. It’s a very well looked after car showing few signs of 23 years on the road, save for the slightest wear to the driver’s seat, and some scratches to the bodywork indentation under the door handles. It has done just 101,036 klicks and comes with its original (unused) emergency tyre, tools, a full set of factory books and receipts showing $30,000 spent in its current ownership. The perfect weekend cruiser or even a daily driver.
