DIY Mopar project
Our contributor and Mopar tragic Chris Beattie is reluctantly putting his Unique Cars Project Challenger up for sale to pursue a business opportunity.
Chris’s 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A resto-mod is based on a very rare and original ’70 SE small rear window model, and the unfinished project has all the main body work, including the fibreglass T/A bonnet, already done by Max Hayes (pictured) of Vintique Moto in Melbourne.
Much of the interior trim has also been refurbished by Wayne Niven.
Beattie says it comes complete with a heap of spares, including an ultra-rare 400 Big Block Cold Weather bare block, with beefed up main webs, thicker bores and decks (easily rated to handle 1000+hp) plus a heap of new body parts and other spares.
He says the whole package is priced to sell and will suit a serious Mopar enthusiast.
