2021 Market Review - Pontiac 1957-1978
Australia from the late 1950s-1970s saw an ever-changing parade of Pontiacs; sourced from Canada with French-sounding names and assembled in Holden factories. These cars survive in decent numbers but not many have been seen recently and it’s hard to confirm whether pricing has indeed hit $40,000. Even with a decent-sized sample, it was also difficult to accept that two-door 1960s US imports were worth only $25,000 and we look to next year for a better array of stock.

Post-1966 versions of the Hardtop Bonneville and two-door Grand Prix look more viable at around $40,000, with convertible versions capable of $60,000. If you want something to spruce up as a GTO ‘tribute’, then basic Le Mans two-doors should cost $25-30,000.
