Pre-1967 versions remain cheap, but not so the stylish 1967-69 replacements which routinely top $60,000. They in turn were replaced by the E Body ‘Cuda; almost too late to make an impression, but often with big block engines and masses of charisma.

All of the earlier versions have been gaining in value, with scarce 440 Six-Packs zooming towards $250,000 and even the basic 5.2-litre coupe likely to now cost more than $60,000.

‘Cudas did come in convertible form too, but these cars are scarce even in the USA. Find a 7.0-litre Hemi soft-top and the money offered reaches into the several millions.
