2021 Market Review - Plymouth 1936-1972
With bodies assembled locally until the 1950s, Australia saw plenty of early Plymouths but not many of the later, fully imported models.
1950s Plymouths were diverse in design, starting the decade with drab and slow side-valve models and ending it with the fast, finned Fury Hardtop which today can reach $50,000.
Local Plymouth sales stopped in 1959 and the local Belvederes and Furys that survive from those years have been supplemented by recent arrivals.

High-performance Mopars took time to be appreciated in Australia and just 10 years ago it was hard to find a Satellite or Road Runner. Today’s asking prices seem to be tracking the North American market, where basic versions of both models in excellent order make US$50-60,000.
