A unique race helmet to be worn by Supercars driver David Reynolds during the 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 this weekend is set to go under the hammer on Monday, with all proceeds supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

For the third year in a row Lloyds Auctions alongside JAX Tyres & Auto are presenting David Reynolds’ race-worn helmet to auction, a truly special contribution towards an important cause.

“Breast cancer touches so many families, and if this helmet can help raise funds to fight it, then I’m proud to do my part. A huge thank you to JAX Tyres & Auto and Lloyds Auctions for making this possible,” Reynolds said.

For Lloyds Auctions chief operations officer Lee Hames, it’s a chance to give back.

“Lloyds are honoured to contribute alongside JAX Tyres & Auto and David Reynolds to bring this auction to the community and to help raise as much funds as possible for breast cancer research,” Hames says.

“These helmets are rare pieces of motorsport history and already generating buzz among Supercars enthusiasts across the country. It’s not often you get a chance to own something this unique, while supporting such an important cause.”

Jax Tyres & Auto chief franchising officer April Harwood says it is heartwarming to be able to support such a great cause.

“We’re incredibly proud to reveal this year’s pink helmet as part of our ongoing partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).”

The helmet has been custom-designed and hand-painted by renowned helmet artist Trent Rogers of 6Star Custom Paint.

Featuring a bold pink livery in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the design blends powerful purpose with unmistakable Gold Coast flair, resulting in a striking collector’s piece that embodies both passion and performance.

Equipped with a D2N Radio Kit and cooling fan system, the helmet combines race-ready features with collectible value, perfect for fans and memorabilia collectors alike, a chance to own a piece of motorsport history.

Bidding is open now on the Lloyds Auctions website with the auction closing this Monday, 27th October at 10am AEST, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going directly to NBCF to support its vision of zero deaths from breast cancer.
