2020 Market Review - Oldsmobile 1957-1980
As one of the world’s pioneering automotive brands, Oldsmobile had a long association with Australia. During the 1960s, Holden dealers would import option-packed Olds sedans and huge Vista Cruiser wagons for wealthy customers and survivor cars from those days still occasionally appear.
| Buyer’s Guide: Oldsmobile Cutlass 4-4-2
Best with their combination of driving enjoyment and investment potential are performance models including Cutlass 4-4-2 hardtops from the 1960s and later W-30 Hurst versions. Slightly cheaper than a 4-4-2 and way below the $70,000-100,000 that a W-30 will bring are Delta 88, 98 and Omega models. As sedans or hardtops, these sell at $25-30,000. Convertibles cost slightly more, as do rare surviving examples of the front-wheel drive Toronado.
