A great collection of cars brightens up the beaches but police operation takes the shine off

 

Northern Beaches Muscle Car Show 2016 

Aussie, American, and even the odd European – it was all happening at the recent Northern Beaches Muscle Car Show. And yes, there was even a movie element with a late-model Batmobile on site!

Organsiers were fortunate in getting decent weather for the event on September 11, encouraging a good turnout.

However there was controversy over a local police operation that targetted the participants despite the fact it was a charity event. See this link to the story from the Manly Daily.

Some of our favourites included a wild green Torana SS Hatchback in super-original condition and a tasty Dodge coupe owned by Fletch of Classic Restos fame.
