Nissan 180SX/200SX/Silvia 1988-2002 - 2022 Market Review

Sold under various names, these Nissan coupes all owe their origins to one gorgeous 1960s design that went by the name of Silvia.

Up until 2002, Nissan was still building Silvias and almost 4000 of the final S15 series, with 200SX badging, were sold in Australia. Keen interest in S13 versions is boosting the values of these cars; mostly built during the early 1990s and undergoing a price revival.

| Buyer’s Guide: Nissan 180SX/200SX/Silvia coupe 1988-2002

Currently we see turbo Silvias at around $25,000 and the lift-back 180SX marginally more. These figures do not include cars that have been prepped for competition and bring $50,000+.

Demand for later versions, locally delivered or recent imports, is strengthening too and the money available for an excellent S14 model 180SX, S15 200SX or Silvia has gone above $40,000.

180SX 1989-92 $31,415 (7)

180SX 1993-97 $39,155 (5)

200SX 1995-98 $39,400 (11)

200SX 1999-02 $47,360 (25)

Silvia Turbo 1988-96 $26,135 (16)

Silvia S15 1997-02 $46,410 (12)

Varietta $31,000 (6)
