1977 Holden HX Kingswood

Just in time for the Aussie family car edition of Unique Cars mag (#469 on sale now), is this rather splendid one owner, matching numbers HX Kingswood with 118,000km on the clock. Under the bonnet is a 253ci V8 bolted to a three-speed column shift manual, a combo rarely found in a Kingswood. It was ordered with the factory sports pack so has a GTS dash and tiller inside and GTS wheels outside. It has been in a shed since 2006 and is finished in a rare hue called Deville Blue, which is all original save for the top of the driver side rear quarter panel. The dealer sticker and original reg plates go with the car. A true Aussie classic. Listed at $64,000

1992 Ford EB XR8

The big news with the EB Falcon was the return of the V8 engine after a dumb decision made a decade earlier. Even better news, the reconditioned V8 engine in this one is  tied to a five-speed manual gearbox. It has its original interior, while the steering, brakes and suspension have been given a once over at some stage. A new 3-inch exhaust system has also been fitted. It has also been given a rotisserie respray in factory Pearl Black, which is a rare colour and makes this future Ford classic really stand out. Think about it, when was the last time you saw an XR8 EB Falcon? Listed at $25,000

1993 HSV VP Sportwagon

As soon as you feature one another one appears. I am talking about another HSV enhanced VP wagon, similar to the one in the last issue. This one was built in celebration of HSVs fifth anniversary. Galaxie blue in colour, (stop sniggering you Ford lot) with 63,808km, this two-owner matching numbers car has spent its time on Victorian country roads and gets its urge from the five-litre V8, mated to a four-speed auto. 138 anniversary specials across a mix of models was produced and wore special decals. Inside the anniversary logo appeared embroidered on the door trims. Listed at $60,000
