Sumptuous Aussie muscle

Given recent over-the-top prices shelled out at recent auctions for Aussie muscle cars, one could be forgiven for thinking the only way to snaffle one is by previously winning the lottery.

But there is still some good buying to be had, like this 2001 HSV VX Senator Signature .

Ian Callum of Jaguar and Aston Martin fame penned the updated bodywork for the VX HSV range, with the Senator having more angular styling, a distinctive egg-crate grille and chrome accents, plus a discreet boot spoiler.

Inside is a 10-stack CD player with premium sound, four airbags climate and cruise controls, power windows and mirrors.
