Rare Monaro variant

Over the brief model life of the GMH CV8 series Monaro, HSV came up with some spectacular variants, delivering on the promise of more performance and small build numbers.

These included the HSV Coupe GTO Signature you see here and the all-wheel-drive Coupe 4.

Just 70 of the final 2WD GTO Signature series were built and featured some significant upgrades. They included a 6.0lt LS2 V8, claiming a healthy 297kW at 6000rpm and 530Nm at 4400.

This 2006 example has the optional heavy-duty four-speed auto.

The chassis scored 6-piston AP front stoppers and 19-inch wheels. With just under 13,200km on the odo, this is built number 30 and is on the market at $129,000.
