1. Shelby rims

Okay, so you’re sitting in the shed looking for trouble – what to do? Well there is a fine tradition of ditching the wheels, and trying a new ‘look’ for the
car. Now if it’s a Mustang, it’s hard to think of a more appropriate brand than Shelby, and that’s what the good folk at Mustang Motorsports are offering. The
set comes as 20 x 9-inch front and 20 X 10-inch rears, priced at $2420.

2. Ford top

Since we are running with a Ford theme on the cover of issue 458 of Unique Cars mag, it seems as good a time as any to show you this – a Ford-licensed polo
shirt with pretty simple graphics front and back. The material is a black polyester and the graphics are a transfer print. You can find them online via the
Ford Merchandise shop for $60

3. Dak Dak

Yeah okay, we couldn’t resist this one when we tripped over it. It’s a German-made model of the legendary Veedub boxer four, the basis for decades-worth of fun
and travel for millions of folk around the world. There was a time when you could buy a whole Volkswagen Beetle, a real one, for this sort of money, but those
days are long gone. This looks like it could take a little time and patience to assemble, as it claims to have 200 parts. Price is $259.

4. Italian Aston

We must confess to doing a bit of a double-take on this one, when we saw where it was made. England, surely? Nup – Italy. Done by Tecnomodel, we’re told it’s
1:18 scale, made by hand and is one of just 75 examples. That goes some way towards explaining the price. It is of course a 1950 Aston Martin DB2. It was an
important car in the marque’s history, as it used the Lagonda straight six powerplant and helped establish its reputation for fast coupes. Price is $500.
