Luxury feline

When Jaguar was owned by Ford, the Jaguar X308 Series wore XJ8 badging reflecting the move to V8 engines.

This series, the last based on the XJ40 platform from 1986, also featured independent rear suspension.

Jaguar also softened look of the indicators, interior trim and fittings and switches to a rounder design and the interior came in for a freshen up.

This one owner 2002 3.2lt Magnetic Metallic British Racing Green/Blue XJ8 Sovereign badged Heritage has covered 74,300 kilometres. In original condition and always garaged. 

The roof lining has been replaced as have the ceramic timing chain guides, both weak spots. This Qld-based example appears to be well presented, but no mention of a service history. It comes with a roadworthy at $47,000.
