Ford BA Falcon XR8 - today's tempter

After the polarising styling of the AU the BA cut a more conventional and acceptable figure. Based on the sixth generation Falcon it also shared many components and underpinnings with the Territory. 

The flagship sports model the XR8 features sports suspension with control blade IRS, and the new to the model 5.4-litre Boss 260 (for 260kW) engine. However, the 260 was known to make up to 290kW, more than its nominal name figure.

Our tempter is finished in early Shelby Mustang tones, has had three owners, travelled 137,000kms and is fitted with the premium package. Those who love shifting gears will smile as it has a five-speed manual.  It appears to have been well cared for and comes with factory paint protection. An appreciating Aussie classic.
