Join the Beach Hop Tour in 2022

Group travel specialist Ticket2Ride Global Adventures has announced a tour to New Zealand’s largest and most popular car festival.

To be run next March the Beach Hop 2022 Tour will give Australian car, hot rod and street machine enthusiasts the opportunity to experience a very special, feature-packed event that draws Kiwis and overseas visitors in their hordes to Whangamata on the spectacular and picturesque Coromandel Peninsula, south of Auckland.

"We’re going to keep it relatively simple for next year, taking advantage of the current Australia-NZ travel bubble to give car enthusiasts the opportunity to experience Repco Beach Hop and also explore all the natural features of the North Island," said Chris Beattie, founder and managing director of Ticket2Ride. "Our intention is actually to establish the tour as an annual event, and we’re aiming to begin taking cars over as early as 2023," he said.

For 2022, Chris said tour members will be set up with campervans and tour members will have access to special courtesy vehicles throughout Beach Hop to ensure they have easy access to all the events on offer.
