Ford Landau cover car - today's tempter
Luxo resto looking for a new home
Our main cover car this issue, an exceptional restored example of Ford's mighty Landau, is up for sale.
Ford Australia threw everything at these 1973-76 coupes, including a premium drive train consisting of 351ci V8, FMX auto and nine-inch diff.
In fact it was that drive train which proved the undoing of many examples over the years, as builders pulled thm out to power replica GT sedans and hardtops.
This is one of the surprisingly few survivors. It has had a major body resto and interior refit and is in exceptional shape. The drive train so far has been left alone as it is in fine form.
You can read all about this car in our current edition of Unique Cars magazine, number 452.
In the meantime the owner – Stav Sergiou – has put a price of $150k on it and you can get in touch via email: landauenquiries@gmail.com
