It's great to see that, 50 years down the track, the odd clean and straight stock-standard car is still popping up on the market. Though it had a respray about seven years ago, we're told there is no sign of accident repairs, while the interior and engine bay are original.

This 1971 GS Rally Pack would have been a bit special when it rolled out of the showroom, complete with the 250-cube straight six and a four-speed Toploader transmission.

Of course the debate will be do you leave it and enjoy the car as-is? Or do you give in to temptation and turn it into a GT replica, or at least slot a V8 into the snout? It's a quandary.

In any case the seller says this one is a turn-key classic. It's located at Muscle Car Warehouse  in Sydney and priced at $52,000.
