Mazda expands MX-5 parts reproduction for Euro owners

Hundreds of previously discontinued items will be produced once again by Mazda

Mazda’s global support for its classic NA-generation MX-5 is hard to match, with its Japan-based factory restoration service offering full ground-up rebuilds, or its Restoration Parts catalogue already servicing owners in Japan and the recently-added USA.

Today, Mazda extends its comprehensive parts reproduction program to service European owners and enthusiasts with hundreds of newly available components.

In total, there are 117 left-hand drive and 156 right-hand drive new components that are being remanufactured to original specifications.

Mazda consulted MX-5 owner’s clubs across Europe to ensure their new program expansion provides the most in-demand items.

All components will be manufactured in Japan, aided by modern production methods and the highest quality material possible whilst remaining true to the original look and feel.

The official range of reproduction parts for the NA MX-5 includes a newly-developed soft top featuring the same rear screen material as the original. The MX-5s factory Enkei wheels will also re-enter production with original suppliers Enkei utilising modern technology making them lighter and stronger than the originals.

There are also a host of interior replacement parts, mechanical components and even the smallest bolts and washers.
