Unique Cars Magazine #443 ON SALE NOW!
40 Years of HDT, final Charger and Barracuda, R34 Skyline Buyer’s Guide, Tickford AU + MORE!
The latest edition of Unique Cars Magazine has touched down in stores and on shelves today!
Our cover cars come courtesy of two capstone models for the Chrysler brand. Representing home soil, we look at the last local Charger, and why it might be the one to buy.
We then hear what it’s like to buy, own and sell an American icon in the form of the 1974 Plymouth Barracuda from long-time enthusiast Steven Newman.
This month’s buyer’s guide looks at the R34 Skyline, but not the big GT-R badged hero model, but instead the more mainstream (and far more affordable) GTs and single-turbo GT-Ts.
If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, we look at the future classic status of the Tickford AU TE50 as one of those local hotshoes waiting in the wings.
We also celebrate 40 Years of HDT by revisiting an old yarn from Glenn Torrens about where it all started. We also gathered up a bunch of owners (before Melbourne’s current stage 4 lockdown) to talk about why these cars are so special.
The HDT theme continues into this month’s Reader’s Resto, with not one, but two cars! David and Jenn are the proud owners of the HDT-fettled VH SL/E Dealer Pack as well as the HDT VK SS – both of which have been treated to restorations years in the making.
Of course, there’s plenty more to find inside, including all the usual shed tips, classic car reviews & market data, Unique Cars’ workshop, and all of the latest auction news and more!
