2020 Carroll Shelby Signature Series Mustangs landing in Melbourne

Extremely limited 615kW Carroll Shelby Signature Mustangs will be available down under

Melbourne’s premier pony-car powerhouse, Mustang Motorsports, has announced it will receive an incredibly limited pool of recently-announced 2020 Shelby Signature Series Mustangs.

Just 50 units will be allocated globally by Shelby American, and will be available in both convertible and fastback bodies, and in both automatic and manual guises; all with an earth-spinning 615kW out of the box.

Complementing the supercharged 5.0lt V8, is Shelby-specific Magneride suspension, new brakes and a high-flow exhaust. The body has been widened and pumped, yielding a square footprint as well as a bevy of bespoke aero pieces including the ram air hood and new fascias that "dramatically drop under hood temperatures".

The team at Shelby American have been developing the Carroll Shelby Signature Series over the past two years,

"This is the most polished performance car in Shelby American’s history" said President Gary Patterson.

"We addressed every aspect of this car, [and] spent an enormous amount of energy to maximize speed, reliability and consistency" continued Patterson.

Each Carroll Shelby Signature Series Mustangs will be further distinguished by special badhing and will be listed on the official Shelby registry. Cars can be ordered in any of the standard 2020 Mustang colours.

Melbourne’s own Mustang Motorsports is one of a select few Shelby mod shops globally that will have access to these extremely limited Shelbys.
