This is one of 179 UK spec 968 Club Sport’s built and a bargain compared to Aussie prices. Power of 240 horses comes from 3.0-litre four with 6-speed gearbox. The 968 morphed from the 924/944 and was better in every way. It's considered one of the best-handling Porsche's ever and the 968 Clubbie was a track-focused model with the Porsche philosophy of ‘less is more’, meaning you got less kit and paid more for the privilege.

BMW E36 M3

bmw-m3.jpg

The second generation of BMW's famed M3 was produced from 1992 to 1999 and has recently stepped out of the shadow of the E46. Initially available as a coupe only, with a convertible version added in 1994, a sedan version was also added later that same year to fill the void caused by the lack of a BMW M5 sedan. Late 1995 saw a facelift of the coupe and the introduction of a 3.2 -litre engine and six-speed manual gearbox, along with different wheels and clear indicator lenses. Not long ago you could snaffle one for mid-teens, now they are over thirty grand and counting.
