Good-quality replica or tribute cars have well and truly established themselves in the market and this example of an XY Phase III certainly looks the goods.

As prices for GT-HOs - particularly Phase IIIs - reached $700k and above in peak market conditions, it was inevitable that people would turn their minds to building replicas.

Where once they would have been looked down upon, there are now enough in the market to set price levels and establish these cars as an acceptable and more affordable alternative.

This example at Muscle Car Warehouse in Sydney is done out in Wild Violet with black trim.

It's running a 351 V8 in the nose, claiming a healthy 450 horses, along with a Toploader four-speed manual transmission.

There is an impressive list of components in the ad for this one, which is listed at $90,000.
