International auction house holds curated auction for the British brand

Esteemed auction house Bonhams is set to hold a dedicated Aston Martin auction, taking place on May 19 at The Wormsley Estate in England.

There’s a slew of memorabilia, art and spare parts but of course it’s the cars that are the stars in our eyes.

There are 32 cars on offer (33, if you count a tractor…); blending the British brand’s best of both new and old.

It’s not all prohibitively expensive metal either; with a 1998 DB7 Volante estimated to fetch AU$34,000-$48,000, or a 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Coupe for AU$110,000-$150,000.

A gorgeous Mulliner-coachbuilt 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 3.0lt is estimated to pull AU$190,000-$220,000, and would be one of our absolute dream buys.

Of course things get pricey very quickly in an auction of this calibre.

The quintessential bond car? A silver 1964 Aston Martin DB5 with five documented owners is estimated to fetch AU$1.2 million to AU$1.3 million.

A more contemporary and slightly more "affordable" 1987 Aston Martin V8 Vantage in desirable X-pack specification is estimated to pull AU$600,000-AU$670,000.

The auction is headlined by two very unique vehicles; one is a 1986 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato Coupe is estimated to sell for AU$780,000-AU$890,000. It represents just one of 52 built, and one of 27 in right-hand drive with a manual transmission.

An incredibly limited 2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake bears a pre-auction estimate of AU$1.2 million to AU$1.4 million. Just 99 were produced, this one being #68. It presents in near unique specification, just one of three cars to bear bronze detailing on the front grille and rear. It has just 43 miles from new.

There’s plenty to drool over, you can check out the full auction catalogue at
