This has to be one of the most attractive cars ever to come out of Japan and those looks were backed up by serious performance.

The legendary Allan Moffat won a national touring car title with one, and got some great international results, including a first in class at the Daytona 24-hour.

They've been popular as platforms for all sorts of modified and competition cars and seem to be able to cop a remarkable amount of punishment.

The series started life in 1978 and this example is a Series 3 turbo.

It is of course a manual and is a grey import out of Japan. That really shouldn't be an issue and the seller says the bonus is that it has low miles and is pretty much in original shape.

It claims to have all the books and records with it, and you can't help thinking this would be a huge amount of fun to drive.

Priced at $23,990, it's located in NSW.
