We have yet another barn find to report! But this one’s a bit different.

Uncovered in a barn in rural France, the massive cache of classics spans a total of 81 cars!

There’s some pretty high-end metal in there too, with the likes of a 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400, a 1964 Jaguar E-Type Series 1, as well as a Porsche 356 Pre-A all found looking rather worse for wear.

All vehicles were sent to French auction house, Interencheres, and crossed the block just days ago.

The results have yet to be published at the time of writing, but the Miura P400 was expected to fetch between A$637,000 and A$955,000 – even in its exceedingly degraded state.

The Jaguar E-Type Series I looks to be all there, though was estimated to go for one tenth of the price of the Miura.

The Porsche 356 Pre-A looks like it’s been rolled a couple of times, but there were a number of other cars that looked mostly intact; including a C3 Corvette.

The collection at large spans over 100 years and bears models from all over the world: even some more obscure pieces such as the Packard Super Clipper and Stutz Speedway Six.

Obviously all cars will need incredibly heavy attention before they’re returned to the road, but it’s a rather astounding find and a truly diverse collection.

All of which begs one to question; just how were they lost in the first place?

Like countless of other cars still hidden in barns around the world, the answer to that question, is yet to be discovered.
