The Festival is organised by the Chrysler Car Club of SA, kicking off with a cruise to Talem Bend on Friday February 22nd.
The Club’s highlight event, All Chrysler Day shall fall on the Sunday the 24th, expecting in excess of 300 cars on display.
Festival Event Coordinator Jason Rowley said: "Hart’s Mill, off St Vincent St, by the waterfront at the Port, makes a great backdrop for historic and modern Chrysler vehicles… Chrysler enthusiasts all have MoPar badges close to our hearts – it just seemed to fit, call it ‘MoPars at Hart".
The event is free for spectators and exhibitors, thanks to the efforts of Principal Sponsor, the City of Port Adelaide – Enfield, and long-term major sponsor Shannons Insurance.
"We had a record turn-out at the 2018 Shannons show, at historic Tonsley Precint… while we would have preferred to build on that unique experience, we all recognised we would outgrow the venue".
CCCSA Vice Prsiden Andrew Ingleton spoke of the local councils support: "The City of PAE has really supported us building increased community involvement and we are engaging as many local businesses as possible".
"The ACF has a real ‘family friendly’ feel, with an on-0site playground to entertain smaller kids, and other activities, encouraging younger families to be involved".
The full three-day itinerary is comprised of a cruise and lunch visit to Tailem Bend Motor Sport Park on Friday February 22; followed by a meet-and-greet at the Commercial Hotel on Friday night with three guest speakers and a street display.
Saturday evening sees Australia’s biggest "MoPar MegaCruise", with over 250 Chryslers departing from Tonsley Park.
Sunday February 24th sees All Chrysler Day, the weekend’s headline event. From 10am-3pm, hundreds of historic and modern Chryslers will be on display at Hart’s Mill, St Vincent St, with free entry and plenty of catering.
