Deceased owner, and a collapsed barn full of cars - there’s a lot to unpack here

You find some weird stuff on Facebook Marketplace, a Gumtree-like extension hosted on the prolific social media platform.

This one’s a doozy, however!

Located in Brookville Pennsylvania in America, we have no less than 36 'Barn Find' cars spanning from the 1920s to the 1960s that were pulled out of their former storage after the structure collapsed on top of them, just a few weeks before their owner passed away at age 100.

The facebook ad was made by Andrew Glinkerman, who stated that the cars belonged to his great-uncle who hadn’t touched them in nearly 30 years. His grandfather is overseeing the sale of the estate, and tasked Andrew with selling the cars.

After the barn collapsed, many of the cars were damaged. The cars were so embedded amongst the remains, that excavators were needed to clear away the debris to extract the cars.

The exact contents of the barn are not specified; however we can see among them an old Woody Wagon, a Mercury Comet and an original first-generation Ford Bronco.

Glinkerman says that none of the cars start, many have extensive rust damage, and only a few were largely unscathed by the collapse of the barn.

One was this red 1946 Lincoln Convertible Coupe, and a highly-original first-generation Ford Bronco.

The Bronco, Glinkerman said, has attracted the most attention – he has already received a few hundred enquiries. All of the vehicles, bar one, have their correct titles, and about a third of the collection has already been sold.

We wonder what dormant wonders are still out there to be found!
