Burgeoning heritage market now sees storied British car maker open dedicated showroom

OEM Manufacturers are increasingly aware of the cash-cow that resides within their historical and classic cars, and are further catering their services to the previously untapped classic customers.

Aston Martin is pioneering the movement, already having launched their continuation series of cars: producing ‘new’ cars such as the DB4GT and the upcoming DB5 ‘GoldenEye’  bearing correct and continuing serial numbers and millimetre perfect to the original cars of the past. Each are strictly limited, and each gets sold out instantly!

Now they’ve further cemented their foothold in the marques classic sector, having announced a dedicated Heritage satellite showroom in the heart of London’s popular and fashionable Dover Street, to cater to their international classic and heritage customers.

Situated alongside the Aston Martin Brand Experience Centre at 8 Dover Street in Mayfair, customers can be assisted if interested in acquiring an Aston Martin heritage model or even learning about Aston Martin’s factory restoration services.

President of Aston Martin Works, Paul Spires, said: "The expansion of our Heritage showroom activity into Central London enables us to engage with our customers in the location where they work and live their lifestyle."

"It also supports the international appeal and invigorated interest in Aston Martin heritage cars, allowing us to deliver a personal service to customers visiting the UK".

Aston Martin Works is based at the famed Newport Pagnell factory, and cares for customers’ heritage cars from around the world.

As Classic Cars become ever more lucrative, and the collecting community continues to grow - we predict that even more manufacturers will follow Aston Martin's lead.
