Original factory condition, one owner, just 145,600kms

First touching down on Aussie soil in 1964, the second-generation Toyota S40 Crown was lauded for its looks and prodigious standard equipment.

By the late 70s and early 80s, the Crown nameplate had reached its sixth-generation with the S110 model. Gone were its subtle round curves, and in was all the rectangles and boxes you could fathom – as per typical 80s fashion.

Engine options were plentiful, and included a slew of inline-sixes with various displacements as well as varying trim levels.

The top-spec available to Aussies was the 2.8lt inline-six powered Royal.

These days, Crowns are a rare sight as many were chopped and slammed at the hands of young enthusiasts, or just plain rusted out of existence.

This 1982 Crown Royal however, is in excellent and in rare factory original condition.

The listing claims it to be a single owner car, with the 2.8lt inline-six and automatic transmission. The car also boasts air conditioning and electric windows.

With just 145,600km travelled over its 36 years of life, the car is incredibly low-milage for such a consummate workhorse.

The car is listed for $7000, and is based in Mildura, Victoria.
