Value muscle car?

There's no doubt that while we're seeing the prices of older Australian muscle cars head to dizzying heights, American muscle cars increasingly look like good value.

This is as good an example as any. While serious international collectors pay a premium for C2 generation Corvettes, the C3 is a dramatic looking option.

Mechanically they're generally simple and robust things. This one is running a 5.7lt V8 with three-speed auto.

You're talking about a fibreglass body on a steel chassis, and a very low riding cabin.

This car, assuming it lives up to the seller's description, looks like value at $24,500. It's located in Victoria.
