Matching numbers, and Aus-delivered. This could be the 70s 911 to buy!

The air-cooled 911 boom is in full swing, and while some years ago prospective 911 owners would often look older for cheaper, the script has been well and truly flipped.

Even early 70s 911 SCs which were originally positioned below the traditionally entry-level Carrera have been known to fetch six-figure sums, all the while those long-time 911 enthusiasts shook their heads knowing the price-saving trim, smaller engine, and high-production numbers were bargain buys ‘back in the day’.

But hindsight is 20/20, and no matter how you remember them, money talks and the market moves accordingly.

This 1976 Porsche 911 is in increasingly rare original condition, matching numbers, Australian delivered and right-hand drive from factory.

A described survivor and time-capsule car, the car boasts extensive service documentation with lots of recent mechanical work performed by a "Porsche Specialist".

With a "fresh" engine and original Sporto-Matic gearbox, this 911 on offer via the Healey Factory is ready to drive, enjoy and be treasured.

The car is listed for $87,500, and is priced lineball with similarly aged, but significantly less original 911s. Restored examples will fetch prices for north of six figures. If you’re a discerning collector looking for a 70s 911 for under $100,000, this could be the one for you.
