We couldn't resist bringing you this teaser from Sports Car Digest - it's a Lola T332 Chevrolet Formula 5000 picking its way through the snow at the recent Goodwood Members Meeting.

That event hosted a tribute to F5000, along with Goodwood's usual wild mix of machinery battling it out on the track.

You might notice the car in the photo is wearing Dan Gurney Racing livery.

T332s were one of several rival F5000 models, and were raced here and overseas in many forms - locally they often used a Repco Holden V8 in pace of the Chevrolet powerplant.

Perhaps the highlight for the T332 was winning the USA championship two years in a row - 1974-75, with Briton Brian Redman at the wheel.

Several Australian drivers got involved with the formula and drove T332s, including Kevin Bartlett, Alan Jones, Vern Schuppan, Johnnie Walker, Graeme Lawrence and Warwick Brown.

F5000 was primarily raced in the USA, UK, Australia and New Zealand.
