Holden Commodore VH SS Group 3 replica
VH tribute car has the right look
With the prices of many real Aussie hero cars heading out of reach for many of us, it's hardly surprising that the market for replicas has grown in strength.
Where once people would have looked down their noses at a tribute car, they're now seen as a legitimate alternative and a realistic way to get on the road without mortgaging the house.
This VH SS Group 3 replica looks like a good example of the breed - just seeing it parked in the driveway should be enough to brighten up your day.
The NSW-based seller says it's running a 5.0lt V8 in good shape, with a five-speed manual transmission.
Several upgrades are mentioned, including VT brakes and VL diff.
Apparently the original car was a police pursuit model and this one is up for sale at $38,000.
