Mustard Yellow Marvel!

The E20 Toyota Corolla is the second generation of one of the bestselling automotive monikers on the planet.

Released in May of 1970, the E20 replaced the outgoing Corolla E10, and stayed in production in certain body styles until May of 1978.

The E20 Corolla could be had in a number of different body styles that comprised a two and four-door sedan, two-door coupe, three and five-door wagon and a three and five-door van.

Production of the E20 Corolla took place at Toyota City in Japan and even locally in Port Melbourne, Victoria.

Power was derived from a range of inline four-pot motors that varied in different levels of displacement.

These motors powered the Corollas rear wheels via either a four or five-speed manual or a three-speed automatic transmission.

This particular E20 Corolla is a ’74 model two-door sedan and comes equipped with the 1166cc inline four-cylinder motor and four-speed manual transmission.

According to the seller, the vehicle has travelled an original 48,000 kilometres from new and is in completely original condition.

The seller adds that everything on the vehicle works and it is very reliable and has always been well maintained.

The Corolla is $5750 and anyone interested in this classic Japanese two-door can view the full listing here.
