The Ford Fairlane ZB is the second iteration of the first generation of a range of large, luxury focussed sedans built by the Blue Oval.

Released in March of 1968, the ZB replaced the outgoing ZA Fairlane, and stayed in production until 1969.

Changes made over its predecessor were mostly cosmetic in nature, and included a revised taillight design.

Mechanically, the two engines offered with the ZB were a 3.62lt inline six-cylinder and a 4.95lt Windsor V8.

The power derived from these two motors was sent to the ZBs rear wheels via a two-speed Crusie-O-Matic transmission.

This particular ZB is a ’68 model and comes equipped with the 4.95lt Windsor bent-eight motor.

According to the seller, the vehicle has undergone a comprehensive restoration and has the added benefit of being a matching numbers example.

The ZB is $29,000 and anyone interested in this beautiful Aussie classic can view the full listing here.
