1995 Ford DF LTD – Today’s Opulent Aussie Tempter

A lot of car for the money

The DF LTD is the fourth generation of the large-sized, luxury sedan built by Ford between 1995 and 1996.

Based off the same platform as the EF Falcon, the long wheel base DF LTD was built in Campbellfield, Victoria, and succeeded the DC LTD.

Changes made over its predecessor were significant, and most notably included a major cosmetic redesign, aimed at modernising the styling of the vehicle and hiding it’s 1980s origins.

Power came from a choice of either a 4.0lt inline six-cylinder or a 4.9lt V8, and the shove from these donks was sent to the LTDs rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.

This particular DF LTD is a ’95 model with the 4.9lt V8 and, according to the seller, the vehicle has travelled an original 115,300 kilometres from new.

The seller adds that this is a genuine one owner vehicle and is in good condition both inside and out.
